In Short – This Chamblee kitchen stars in consistency. Vegetarian dishes, like sag dal, spinach with split peas, and roasted, pureed eggplant bharta are fragrant and satiating. Sizzling meat platters from the tandoor are moist and fork-tender. But one of the greatest perks are the herb-flecked pappadams (crispy, wafer-like breads) served with each meal, along with a trio of addictive condiments: a tart-sweet tamarind sauce, a fiery yet cooling mint sauce, and a biting onion chutney.

Great food, good price and friendly service
by Sohel at Citysearch
I've been going to this place for quite sometime and current owner is doing a much better job than the old owner did. I've seen some people are saying the meat dishes weren't good or the vegi dishes weren't up to the standard, but I think even the finest restaurants can have a bad day or two as far as cooking goes. So far, I've not had any bad experience there and I eat frequently. I've sent some of the co-workers there and they are hooked to their chiken tikka masala dish. The staffs are friendly and easy going and they take it easy and don't give you the rush feelings when you are ordering. Over all great food, good price and friendly service. I know the interior pinkish color is a bit odd, but I'm there to eat not to judge the color or the paintings on the wall. :)
The Best Curry in Atlanta

This place is amazing!! My husband and I love Indian food, being British we have been to many Indian restaurants (its our national cuisine!), so we have very high standards for Indian food. This place is a small hidden Gem in Atlanta, the dishes are always fresh, hot and delicious. They spice up the food at request. The waiting staff are always friendly and helpful. The decor is funny, and the place is very small, but we have been there with groups of around 16-20 and they served all of us quickly with the same great standard of food, and all of our friends love this place too. Highly recommended.

Atlanta's Tastiest Indian Food
by merrigator at Citysearch
Oh. My. God. No, seriously, you need to get in your car and drive to Rose of India right now. The food here is insanely good, and it's CONSISTENTLY good. Every single time I go I'm blown away at how tasty and delicious their food is. Papadums--can't get enough of their crispy, cumin-y excellence. Their naan bread--piping hot and pillowy. Their basmati rice is delicious enough to eat all by itself, but that would be a crime. Because their curry dishes--particularly the RIDICULOUSLY TENDER AND RICH lamb curry--is to die for. And the prices are wonderfully low, so you'll be able to go back often (and you'll want to, believe me.) Get the lamb curry and fall in love.
