In Short – Tucked onto a side street of downtown 'hood Castleberry Hill, Elliott's is a hidden, pint-sized artist dive. Burly brothers Pete and Michael Jakob opened the bar in 2006 and live in the apartment upstairs. A choice beer selection and homemade sandwiches wrapped in wax paper ooze a vibe that is personal and heartwarming. Limited seating along the L-shaped bar help first-timers get to know each other while the surprisingly sweet biker-channeling owners entice you to come back.
Hidden Gem

Great place to grab a sandwich and a beer! Shorter beer list, but enough to meet the needs of anyone into hops. You never know who you will meet here. The owners, Mike and Pete, are genuine and truly care about their regulars.
- Pros: Interesting company
- Cons: Smoking in bar
Best Sandwiches in Town

Nestled in Castleberry Hill, Elliot Street is a Cheers-like pub and deli that is haven-like for residents of the area, and a gem-to-be-discovered for people who have not yet encountered it. In a loft-like renovated building, Elliot Street offers great sandwiches and cold drinks. My favorite is the Turkey Slaw-wich. It is awesome! Also, the owners take into account both health and the environment, and only use fresh ingredients and shipped in daily breads (clearly, I have been there a lot to know that!.. ;). In regards to the environment, it is my understanding they only use recycled plateware as well.
If you like a laid-back place that offers sandwiches, or even if you are looking for a chill bar to kick back with some friends in the Atlanta area, definitely check this place out.
- Pros: Great food, good people, cute place
- Cons: This is a popular place for many residents of Castleberry Hill, so it may (understandably) get crowded
