Great for glasses rookie!
by Jane64 at Citysearch
I had perfect vision until hitting my 40s, so I hadn't had an eye exam in decades. Dr. Moresi was very thorough and took extra time to answer my questions. He prescribed a progressive Rx and explained what to expect and how to get used to my new glasses. The staff helped me choose the right "look" for me (helpful--I was clueless). The young lady knew just where to start and brought me an appropriate selection to try. (She also steered me away from frames that were wrong for me). The staff obviously enjoys what they do--noticed they enthusiastically helped other clients, seemed to make the experience fun!
I was told when to expect my glasses-- they were on time and the young lady even waited a few minutes after closing so I could pick them up that day!
- Pros: friendly, knowledgable staff / thorough exam
- Cons: pricey, but in-line with other upscale glasses
Dr. spent ton of time fitting me with contacts
by wamay01 at Citysearch
Was visiting in Atlanta and had to get contacts. Prescription was expired so I needed a new exam. Because of some eye issues it is very hard to get a set of contacts to fit correctly. The Dr. spent a ton of time until he fit me with a pair that was more comfortable than any contact I have ever worn. If I'm in Atlanta again and need something for my eyes I will be stopping in to see Dr. Moresi.
- Pros: Ended up with perfect contacts
- Cons: Not located in Cincinnati
great exam and selection

I first went to Dr. Moresi in Dec. with a bad eye infection that drops from my regular dr. didn't cure. Dr. M examined me and prescribed some different drops; within a couple of days the eye was 100% better. I had such a good experience that I went back recently when my ins. benefits kicked in and got a new pair of Prada eyeglasses. The girl who worked with me (Tasha? Misha? I can't find the card she gave me) was a lot of fun and she had a lot of good advice about choosing frames. She was also very patient -- I had to come back with a friend for the final decision. I will definitely go back and would recommend them to anyone looking for a thorough exam and great selection of frames and sunglasses. Don't let your GPS fool you tho -- their address is on Piedmont but they are actually on the Sidney Marcus side of Lindberg Plaza (next to Quik Trip and across from Best Buy).
- Pros: exam, selection, staff
- Cons: confusing street address
