Worst Massage Ever. The worst massage ever! I needed to release some tension and have a great massage...due to working all the time. I went in trying to relax and the massage therapist kept telling me to not fight the massage and relax. Most of the time...I fall asleep during a massage. Not this one. I thought maybe I needed some good pressure to release my tension. Two hours after my massage my shoulders and neck started to tighten. I knew I was in trouble and drank lots of water.

The therapist advised that I stretch and take a hot bath. After...he asked me if I had to go back to work. When I said yes, he looked shocked. Needless to say, by that night I was a wreck. The hot bath made it feel better...and then worse. My shoulders and neck were swollen and hurt to the touch. I had to take a pain killer.

;The next day...I had to still work just in horrible condition. My finance convinced me to call and ask why I was in such pain. The owner explained that I probably had a pinched nerve or toxins were released in my body. Well how the heck did that happen? I was fine going in...no injury or anything. I always go to Spa Sydell when I need some tension released in my back and shoulders...but was trying to find a cheaper way. Well...you get what you pay for. Never go to this place. Ever!!!!

not my favorite place. I went to Saylah for the first time last week for an eye brow and lip thread. The technician somehow convinced me that I needed to thread my whole face (I do not need this).... It was so painful that I was in tears and the technician was not interested in this.... in fact she seemed annoyed. She told me my skin would be softer and smoother....the reality is now the fine hairs are growing back and they are THICKER. I never had this problem before. I wish I had never listened to her but she was so pushy. I will never go back here.

TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!. Staff is extremely rude. Not worth it - there are many other options with friendlier staff. I wish I liked this place because it is convenient to my home, but I would rather drive half an hour than deal with these rude, inhospitable people. In addition, their services are mediocre at best.

Terrible Customer Service. Only one person is actually there so don't even think about doing a walk-in. Also, I have tried calling many times to set up an appointment but there is never any answer. I guess the receptionist is also the waxer? It's just impossible to get in here, and once you do, their services are mediocre at best. I would pass on this place and go somewhere else. Not recommended.

Response to negative review. Greetings..I am the manager of Saylah and I am responding to the previous review. We have NEVER had an employee full or part-time by the name of James. I am always professional and would not have a reason to speak about any of our clients in a negative manner to other employees or clients. Our clients come here to be serviced; therefore, I don't know them on a personal level to make any comments. On my worst day I am always professional and courteous to our clients.

Saylah needs new management/ownership. I worked here part time and I think the place could be nice. The manager is a busy-body! She is more interested in being on the phone spreading gossip and having personal visitors than minding her business. She is freindly to customer but always talks behind there back. I really need to move on she is not fair to cleints. Very high turn over!

Eyebrow threading is always perfect!. I am a frequent customer of Saylah -- for threading only. I have not been there for other services. The hostess is always friendly. The spa definitely does not seem to be what it looks like on the outside. The decor is very serene.
