“The atmosphere is great.”
“We've only tried a few sides, but the baked mac-n-cheese was more like cold pasta alfredo (again the cream sauce!)”
“Reasonable wine list, eclectic menu, great staff!”

“The prices are good and I have found the service to be very attentive.”
Great place and Kid friendly!. We came to Nancy G's with our 7 month son Declan after we heard the restaurant was kid friendly. We were not wrong. Not only was the food awesome, service very friendly but the owner Nancy even looked after our son for us while we ate!!!!
Kitschy charming bistro.
I've been here twice to watch the live music on the spacious breezy patio (High Cotton was playing) and both times have been enjoyable. The atmosphere is comfy chic, and the food is gourmet but not pretentious.
We had the artichoke dip and bleu cheese chips for appetizers and they were delicious. The menu is ecclectic and interesting with a nice beer and wine list (I'm vegetarian, and while the menu was very meat heavy, the few meat free items I did try were delicious) . I ordered the pumpkin ravioli which was very interesting and absolutely wonderful. All other guests at my table gave their dishes five stars as well (chicken tender salad, fried chicken mac&cheese w/ asparagus, ahi tuna and wild rice). The second time I tried the spinach pizza with alfredo sauce (order the sauce "light") and all the ingredients tasted very fresh, as the do make all the pizza from scratch on site.
Service is attentive and extremely friendly. This place is a gem soon to be a hot spot!
Love this local gem. Have visited Nancy's several times and have yet to be disappointed. Drink specials almost every night. Reasonable wine list, eclectic menu, great staff! Was recently written up in the AJC and it was packed last Friday night. So glad to see it getting so much business. Menu ranges from veggie plates to shrimp and grits. The staff is very accommodating, the only available table was in the back room, we sat there but asked to be seated in the main dining room when a table opened up ? absolutely no problem. Try the steak skewers appy, the mustard sauce tastes a bit like wasabi and is yummy. Next on my list is the country fried steak.
Could have been good...but just never got it right.. We just moved near Nancy G's and have tried it 3 times. You can always walk in, it's very cute inside, and it seemed like a nice, low-key weeknight dinner place. Unfortunately, neither my husband or I have ever rated our meals better than mediocre. The salads are the best option, particularly the house spinach salad. Pasta is all covered in cream sauce - much too rich. Pizza was terrible - bland and soggy. Fish tacos had no flavor whatsoever from the sauce and salsa - just fishy. Sandwiches were a safe bet, if uninteresting. We've only tried a few sides, but the baked mac-n-cheese was more like cold pasta alfredo (again the cream sauce!) than comfort food, but the sweet potatoes were good. All things considered, nothing was "bad" but nothing we tried was very good. We won't go again - for the prices there are much better places to go.
