I am very disappointed: " the groomer did not follow my instructions even thought I brought pictures with me. He did all the opposite that I asked him to do. The owner was not there to give an explanation of their mistake and an apology. Instead I was charged $10.00 more dollars from the original price I was told it was going to cost. Grooming is an art not a joke!
Kelsey's is the best!.
To say we have a different dog thanks to Kelsey's is an understatement!
Graham was a shy, tentative puppy who hid and ran from other dogs in social situations. We tried many other day cares and often had to carry him inside and hand him over to one of the employees to get him to stay. We were about ready to give up, when we were referred to Kelsey's. The 35 lb weight limit was really appealing to us, and when we dropped him off, we could tell this place was different.
Besides feeling like you're in a home, the staff is beyond friendly and it's apparent they each really love their job. After Graham's first day at Kelsey's, we immediately noticed a difference, including an increase in his confidence. Now, when we approach Kelsey's in the morning, he can hardly contain his excitement, and runs inside. As an added bonus, they give the best grooms!
We are so thankful to have found Kelsey's and recommend all of their services to everyone!
Won't be a Customer Here~.
Very poor communication. Checked to see what was required to have a dog groomed here, and there was no mention of extra shots or other requirements. Upon arriving, was informed of their policies which AREN'T listed online and had to turn around and take my dog home.
Staff needs to learn how to communicate vital information. They won't have a chance to get my business.
Worst Groomer in Atlanta. I am very disheartened by the quality of service and cuts now given by Kelsey's. I had been a client for several years. I had always been very impressed with the staff and the professional level of service. However, as all the other current reviews on Kudzu and the like have said, the place has gone downhill since the new ownership. Kelsey's charges top level prices for poor level cuts. I highly recommend finding another place for your doggies. The rude staff and bad customer service are not worth it. Suggestions for other groomers: Dog Days is around the corner...hell Petsmart could do a better job than these people
Love it!. My pup goes here for doggie daycare and grooming and loves it!! All the staff know him and love him which makes leaving him there while I'm at work easier.
Love This Place. If you love your dog then take him to Kelsey's Dog House. I have a little maltese who gets the most amazing puppy cut from Lisa. The staff is so friendly and sweet and they make Howie feel at home. The concept is amazing and I will continue to use and recommend them.
Not so sure about this one.
I honestly wish my dog could talk and tell me what he thinks... I've brought him to the day care, to be groomed, and even boarded him -- and I love the concept, no cages -- just running around. My dog also, doesn't shake when he gets dropped off -- he actually will go and run to the back. .. like he WANTS to be there...
But then I have to question the staff, their professionalism, and their knowledge of dogs. Sure -- I think they like dogs, and I know they all have a dog themselves -- but I had one of the staff people call me at work five times freaking out, made me leave work to go pick up my dog, as she stated he had worms...I brought him to the vet -- no sign of worms...
Another time, I guess my dog was being feisty... when I went to pick him up -- they told me he had scratched their door. I asked why would there be a door closed on him...they had locked him in a room? (he?s a bit Closter phobic hence why I liked the concept of the OPEN kennel, and was willing to pay a premium for it )...Does the staff not know that dogs work that stuff out for themselves...granted, it is an annoyance, and I will correct him If I see him -- but come one -- they are a kennel that encourages dog interaction? Is the staff just ill prepared?
Regardless, I think I'm going to start searching for another kennel. The high price makes it pretty easy to want to wander...
