Worst Barber experience yet.... I was initially attracted to this shop because of the location, down the block from little 5 points, in a nice retail shop. The door has a huge sign that reads "$10 cuts, boys $8" so I decided to give them a shot (my barber is $20). When I entered, I saw that the door actually said Tuesdays $10/8 cuts in smaller print, not visible from the road. Strike one. There were two doors, one off the road, and one off of the back parking lot, bot both could have served as the front door. I walked in from the parking lot, and I was greeted. One barber in particular named Jewels struck interest in me, and was very persuasive so I let her cut me. We decided on a simple temp cut (sides and back tapered). Jewels takes almost all of my hair off. We have a pseudo argument when she tries to cut my hair while on the phone-- my number pet peeve. Strike two. She ruins my hair, cuts my skin all the way around, and has an attitude on top of it all. I see her work, and politefully infrom her that we are finished, and I go to have it corrected by another barber. Strike three. He informs me that this is common practice for her, and he has difficulty fixing what she did. This is all the day before my homecoming.

Not every barber in the small shop is bad, but save yourself the trouble. If you go, don't go to Jewels.
