“order to go food from nyonya restaurant The service was friendly and the food came out in 10 minutes.”
Nasty Attitude & Poor Customer Service.
The bad attitude of the man who is waiter, server and i believe he is also owner, will spoil your meal.
all i asked for was sweet n sour sauce, and he raised his voice and got smart with me that i should've asked for it when i placed the order 10 min ago. as long as i am in the restaurant i expect to be served with whatever condiments are available.
He's provokes arguments and i usually ignore him, but now they've lost a loyal customer of 5 years.
i didn't even complain 2 yrs ago when i chipped my premolar tooth on a rock in their rice.
Great Service. My office orders from Nyonya as often as we can for delivery!! It's so tasty, they get the orders perfect every time. They always show up on time if not early and have a great attitude! I love them. I cannot wait to try and dine in the restaurant
Rich and flavorful entrees.
If you are crazy about Asian cuisine, this is the place to be. They offer Thai, Malaysian and Chinese food all rolled into one place. My brother suggested that I should go and visit this place so I dragged my friend with me to Nyonya and we had an exceptional dining experience.
We were not that familiar with Asian flavors, so we asked some assistance from the very nice attendants to answer all of our inquiries. They suggested their best-sellers. The food was excellent
Good Food Plus Excelent service.. "Nyonya has good Food" That I heard a lot from my workmate. So I ate dinner with my family in nyonya. It was good indeed. Excelent food and service, peaceful atmosphere. So I decided to write review online and I saw the last review, I was not agree. To be make sence you have to respect the restaurant and server, then they will respect you,,,!!!
Bug in Food & Rude Server.
I went to Nyonya to throw a dinner party. The male waiter that was working our table was very inflexible although the restaurant was dead empty and he was very defensive and borderline rude.
Also there was a bug in my Chicken and Shrimp Lo Mein and he acted like it was no big deal and said that perhaps a bug landed on the dish after he finished cooking it. I have to note that the bug was not on top of my dish it was embedded inside. The fact that the waiter really played down the bug makes me even more alarmed and worried about the sanitary conditions of the restaurant.
Needless to say we will NEVER be coming back despite the good reviews that led us there.
I have to say there was a young lady working there, she was very sweet, cheery and helpful. Her good disposition was the only highlight of the night.
Tasty food, fast delivery..
I have ordered delivery on several occasions from Nyonya and every time I got my order hot and on time. I usually order the Panama Triple with extra shrimp.
I also have dined in a few times. It's a clean place that's nicely decorated.
I would highly recommend Nyonya. Go eat dinner there, do it! They are on Roswell Rd. in the Big Lots shopping center.
Try the Panama Triple mmmmm....
one of Sandy Springs hidden treasures.
I’ll admit that I’ve driven right by Nyonya on several occasions, and never even noticed it in the shadow of Big Lots and Tom Jumper Chevrolet. In fact, I almost passed it even knowing where it was! Believe me, it’s worth finding. And don’t let the shopping center façade fool you. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is a pleasing and effective blend of dark wood accents and deep red tones. Beautiful boxes of exotic spices at the entrance hint at the taste adventure that lies ahead.
Nyonya is unique in that it specializes in Thai,Malaysian & Chinese foods by utilizing the talents of three chefs, each one specializing in their respective cuisine. The menu is like a map of the best that each region has to
offer. In addition to your favorites (and who can pass on classics like Moo Shu Pork or Pad Thai?), But before I get carried away, let’s start at the beginning. There are so many starters to choose from that I was already choosing items for my return visit just moments after our order left for the kitchen. The Nyonya Hats are
simply delicious. The crisp pastry shells stuffed with shrimp and shredded veggies and sweet peanut dipping sauce are truly hard to resist. Or try the Roti Canai, a Malaysian-style pancake served with curry dipping sauce. Of course, all of your favorite soups are here, including the rich lemongrass-infused TomYum soup that’s loaded with jumbo shrimp, scallops, squid
and mushrooms. If you’re craving greens, try the Nyonya house salad that features kiwi, oranges and cucumber with a homemade ginger dressing.Grilled lamb chops may not appear on most Asian menus, but Nyonya breaks the mold with their Szechuan Lamb served with a spicy mix of fresh curried vegetables. The lamb is meaty and mild and pairs nicely with a tall glass of Tsingtao beer or a nice glass of red wine. Another
house favorite is the Assam Seabass with stringbeans, eggplants and carrots in a spicy, Indian-derived sauce. One of the chefs was inspired by a trip to Panama and created several dishes that fuse tastes from that region with those of his homeland. The Panama Beef is delightfully sweet & sour and chocked full of cilantro, bell pepper, tomato and onion. The meal ended with a simple plate of mango & coconut mousse cake, a light and airy conclusion to an amazing meal. With so many favorites from Thailand, Malaysia and China, there’s literally something for everyone here. So tell your friend and come hungry to what is easily one of Sandy Springs’ best kept secrets: Nyonya.
SOOOOOOOOOO good. i went in to eat and ordered some food that i ate at other restaurants to compare which one is better. I never knew that the food would be done so fast. when i tried it, it taste way better than the food at the other restaurants. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you want to try some Chinese, Thai, or Malaysian food.
Hot Fresh Food, Friendly Service!!.
I had to go pick something up at Big Lots the other day and on the way in I noticed Nyonya next door. "mmm curry sounds good" I thought to myself. So before I went to Big Lots I placed an order to go.
The cute, friendly cashier took my order and said it would be ready in about 15 mins. I made my way back a little while later and my food was ready and waiting for me.
I ordered the Curry Chicken. It was delicious. Just spicy enough, good portion size with plenty of chicken. They didn't try to make it look like alot of food with just a bunch of onions and no meat.
I'm gonna have to go back there someday and try the Lala chicken.
Best Asian food in town.. I came from SF and stay in the hotel near by Sandy Spring area. I order to go food from nyonya restaurant The service was friendly and the food came out in 10 minutes. The food is delicious and I highly recommended.
