Friendly Professional -- You will be VERY pleased. I've been client of Spencer Malay for quite a while and would NEVER go anywhere else. They know what they are doing and take the time to consult with you and give you suggestions (if you want them) so that your outcome is exactly what you hoped for. Viola is outstanding! Not ony her demeaner -- but she is thoughtful and pays close attention to what you are saying and ensures it happens. If for some reason you "need more/or less" she is there for you - and doesn't blink and eye!

They have a Keratin "frequent flyer" program that is outstanding. I have keratin, foils and cuts and ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT EVERY TIME!

The entire staff is awesome. Everyone is friendly, they introduce themselves by their names, they address you by your name, AND they offer refreshments (and refils) to boot! They are young at heart and you leave there feeling you have had a fantastic experience.

Don't bother every going anywhere else!

I'm loving my hair!. I went to Spencer Malay for the first time last week for a haircut from Spencer. The salon is in a very convenient location and has a comfortable, laid back feel. Everyone that works there is so sweet. Before cutting my hair, Spencer consulted me thoroughly and made suggestions, which I found to be very helpful. My cut is great! While in his chair, we also chatted about my color. So, this week, I went back this time for color. We decided to just tone down my highlights for the fall and have my roots blend in with the rest of my hair. Once again, I was taken care of by Spencer and his awesome staff and left the salon feeling very happy. I also must tell you how relaxing Spencer Malay Salon is...Elizabeth, who does both hair and massage, has amazing hands! Do yourself a favor and book a massage with Elizabeth!

A definite cut above the rest!. I just got my hair cut and colored here today. I'm only in town for a short while and was staying around the corner with my friend who recommended SMH to me in the first place. However, I shopped 2 other salons within close proximity before I made my decision. Prices were comparable but it was the warm and friendly vibe of the place plus great staff customer service as soon as I stepped in the door that won me over. I was not disappointed! The vision I had in mind was brought to life just like they read my mind. Viola was fantastic...she listened and was so personable (as is the rest of the staff) and professional that I felt very comfortable like I was amongst friends. Highly recommended and I will most definitely be going back to try their spa services before I leave town!

Atlanta's Best Hair Salon for Talent and Customer Service. I recently received a color and cut by Viola at this salon and I can't say enough good things about the whole experience. The staff were exceptionally warm and hospitable, yet professional. Viola has such a great personality and really cares about her clients. I am currently undergoing chemotherapy but haven't lost all of my hair, it's only thinning right now, thank God, and she took the utmost care in being gentle and careful to reduce the damage as much as possible. Going through chemotherapy and cancer in itself is devastating and makes you feel very unattractive. I left this salon feeling pretty for the first time in a long time. Thank you, Viola. You are awesome!

Best Hair Salon in Atlanta. I first found Spencer Malay Hair because I lived (literally) a mile away, I was looking for a place to get my hair cut and a place to potentially do my hair & makeup on my wedding day.

After a year of having my hair cut by Viola, she did my hair on my wedding day. She created the most perfect, beautiful hairstyle for my wedding day and I can not thank her enough.

Now, I've moved and getting to Spencer Malay Hair is almost a 40 minute drive, but I make that drive whenever I need a haircut. It's worth it. Not only because Viola is an incredible at what she does, but because the Spencer Malay Hair team really makes you feel like part of their family. Love them!

The Best Choice in Haircare. When I first moved to the downtown area from Duluth I was faced with finding a new salon. This was not the easiest thing to do. I get my haircut every two weeks. I also am quite picky about how it looks.

I tried about three different salons before I walked into Spencer Malay and was immediately greeted by Spencer and he took me to Viola. I was so impressed with the level of professionalism that everyone demonstrated that I have never left. I highly suggest the salon to anyone that wants a great cut, professional service,

Everyone from Ray at the counter who asks me if I want something to drink each time I arrive, to Elisabeth who often washs my hair and all of the staff this is the place for me. I have been comig here for about three years and have NEVER been disappointed.

A Great Place to Get Pampered. I was first introduced to Spencer, Ray, Viola, and the rest of the Spencer Malay Hair team almost five years ago. I stopped by at the recommendation of a good friend, and the rest is history. Everyone who works there is amazing and gifted in their craft.

Be sure to checkout the spa as well. Ivette and Fabian are true professionals! Everyone who works at Spencer Malay Hair is very friendly, helpful, and I always feel like family when I visit.

Best Haircut. I was first introduced to the team a few years back when I was shooting a wedding and the bridal party was getting ready there. They did a fantastic job on the hair and make-up, they did everything in a timely manner (which is important on a wedding day to stay on schedule as much as you can) and everyone was super friendly. When the time came for my wedding, I knew I wanted to get my hair done with Spencer Malay. Viola did my wedding hair, and I've been getting my haircut from her since. I absolutely love her.

High quality service without the snobbery. I am always nervous to try new hair salons, and when I had my first appointment at Spencer Malay a couple of years ago, it was no different. I have very long hair and I am always frightened that the stylist is going to chop it off against my wishes. Viola set my mind at ease immediately. She was respectful of my paranoia and gave me a fabulous trim (cutting off only the split ends but leaving the length:) To this day she knows exactly how I want my hair styled (and colored) without me saying a word (unless you have had your hair chopped off against your wishes, you have no idea how comforting that is).

Viola is the absolute best, but I have to also share some positive words about Spencer, Ray, and Elisabeth. THe owner, Spencer, is always so nice, unpretentious, and makes me feel at home. Ray, always greets me by name and offers me coffee just the way I like:) And Elisabeth gives the best shampoos EVER, it's like a mini stress relieving massage.

In conclusion, Spencer Malay Hair is a high quality salon and spa without the snooty and pretentious price tag or people.

Keratin Treatment was great!!. I went and had my second Keratin Treatment at Spencer Malay Salon yesterday. It was great!! The first one that I had, which was there was amazing!! It has changed my life completely!! I have highlighted blonde curly hair and the results of this treatment are AMAZING!! The salon is fabulous too!! They also have a rewards program with the Keratin Treatments, so it is more affordable each time you get it done! I could not be happier with the Keratin Treatment and also the Salon itself. Overall, it has been an excellent experience both times that I have gone!!
