LOVE MEEHAN's!! – Meehan's is a staple for Happy Hour - I'm a suckr for Irish Pubs, but this place is always packed with a fun crowd and their food is great too.
Highly recommend the sliders. They have a very yummy sauce. Excellent!
Fun Happy hour or dinner- I'll have to try their brunch next time.
Good local pub – Nice hang out close to home with good pub food. This is not a fancy place, but you will get good service, good prices, good food, and a good selection of typical pub food. Nothing fancy, but you didn't really want cut glass crystal-did you? Bring the wife or girlfriend, a few friends and have a few beers and chow down. We had fish and chips and Shepherds pie during a cold wet windy day and night in the winter and the place was packed with happy folks having a good time. Hated to leave.
This quaint pub brings the luck of the Irish to Sandy Springs with great food and fine spirits – In Short
This popular public ale house passes pints to trendy couples and those looking for an after work wind-me-down. The Sandy Springs version of this traditional Atlanta watering chain can be a refreshing change from the what's-hot-right-now spots for people-watching, scotch options or tap obsessed bars. Meehan's has long been popular with friends for weekend nights out and Sunday brunches. With its homey, wood-grain ambience and a superior selection of libations, it's done well enough to cement its reputation as an Atlanta staple with multiple locations. The crowd is characteristically friendly and the service is what you'd expect from an established joint. With a nod to traditional Irish cuisine, the menu items in general are above average, but note for the health nut--most items are fried.
Home Away From Home!!! – I just moved here from Boston & have gone out on the town checking out what Atlanta has to offer and I found a great pub right in my own neighborhood!! Great food & the friendly staff really made me feel right at home! Good beer selection & the menu was better than expected. The fish & chips are the best I've ever had! Saw a great band there. I think they have music on weekends. Does anyone know? I felt like I was back home at The Black Rose! I highly recommend Meehan's!
yuk! – food is not good, what else is there to say? bar food is usually medium, but this is the worst bar food in town. very sub par. burned fried. dry burgers. horrible soup. arrogant management that thinks its good but is obviously drinking.....
Great Neighborhood Pub – This is a great neighborhood pub in the heart of the new CityWalk of Sandy Springs. The food is amazing, especially traditional Irish fare such as the Bangers and Mash or the Meatloaf. Their hamburgers are something to experience. This place is usually hoping on a Friday and is great on St. Paddy's day - of course.
