I waited for over an hour to see Dr. Gaskill for a follow up to a CIMT exam and when I told her, her response was, "well you can go to one of your other doctor's if they run on schedule." I told her I may. Then when I asked what I should do about some "high risk" levels this CIMT exam detected she said "well since you are going to another doctor my job is to just to go over your evaluation. The new doctor can request your records." She would not explain any further, and walked out of the room red-faced and angry.

She seems to use nurses in training to train on her patients. In early April my annual exam took 2 hours, the nurse was unable to fill the little blood vials, and that was with the needle in the vein, and one vial already full. She pulled the needle out and said I need to do it again. I asked for another nurse. She was unable to perform the hearing test without assistance and had to have help with the EKG machine.

So defensive and very unprofessional. I'm sorry I've waited this long to find another GP. Be warned: patients are little better than guinea pigs at Dr. Gaskill's practice.

I was informed this by one of the nurses after going there. The nurse was very honest with me after i complained to her about my treatment there thus far. Now i will admit, the wait times are TERRIBLE!!..1 to 2 hours. The front desk smile at you but can be very rude. The nurses are very nice and caring, very nice to meet the one male nurse there.. knowledgeable and gets tasks done. Dr Gaskill and her PA know what there are talking about i would say 60 percent of the time, the other 40 percent they hit you with a barrage of tests some unnecessary!!! After the huge bill you get they better figure out what is going on!!! And you better not have your own opinion or else you the friendly smiles of the doc and her PA go away and you are blindsided by superior complex attitudes and condescending conversation and scare tactics... And why is it that her nurses stay for a year at most?? She explains results thoroughly but nothing i cant get from webMD or my iphone..... Oh and DON'T let her obliterate your wallet with her hocus pocus laser treatment!!! I learned the hard way! no results!!!

Dr. Gaskill is very thorough and caring. No one has ever taken the time to explain my test results to me like she has. I go in regularly to see her for monitoring my medication and weight loss progress. I can tell she truly cares for her patient’s health. I highly recommend this office.

I moved to Georgia a few months ago, and my daughter’s pediatrician recommended Dr. Gaskill’s office for me. I could not be happier with the care she provides. Having already had a small heart attack, I appreciate her aggressive approach to heart disease. Dr. Gaskill thoroughly explains my test results so that I can understand them, and is always willing to answer my questions. The nurses are excellent too. They are very courteous and professional. I am glad to have a doctor like Dr. Gaskill, and I highly recommend her practice.

My family has been seeing Dr. Gaskill for years, and we have never had any problems at her office. Being in the medical field myself, I appreciate all of the time and information that she provides to her patients, and understand that you cannot make everyone happy, but I know Dr. Gaskill strives to. The office staff is always prompt and professional with return calls and scheduling office visit, and the nurses are great at drawing blood. You won’t find the kind of medical care that Dr. Gaskill provides at any other office, she is the best.

Most unproffessional Doctor I have ever visited. Inconsistent responses from Gaskill and her PA over past 3 weeks lead to my having to question some things at the beginning of my scheduled physical exam. WIthin only about 10 minutes she became flustered and WALKED OUT OF THE EXAM ROOM. She said she thought I was not happy with her and her PA would finish the exam. I did not stick around with such unprofessional behavior. This was of course AFTER an inappropriate comment from the male nurse ( later told he was an "extern") who commented on my legs while he was supposed be information gathering at the beginning of the appt. Sexual harrassment perhaps? Don't waste your time like I did.

Happy To Be There. I have been a patient in this office for many years and have followed Dr. Gaskill as her practice has grown. I have always been very happy with her competence as a doctor. She listens and is always helpful and supportive. The staff is friendly and professional. I have seen Dr. Gaskill and her PA many times and I am always very happy with the care I get.

Glad I Listened. My OB/Gyn referred me to Dr. Gaskill several months ago, and I could not be happier. Dr. Gaskill is a caring person with a passion for preventing disease. She has explained the heart tests to me and now I understand my risks, which I did not think I had, but I do. We are working on getting my weight and cholesterol under control. With her help and the support of my plaquebusters team we are being successful. I am glad my OB/Gyn recommended Dr. Gaskill and now I recommend her too!

Patient Focused Care. I have known of Dr. Gaskill for many years because we see many of her patients at the dermatology office I work at, and I am also one of her patients. Everyone always comments about how caring she is and I agree. Dr. Gaskill’s passion is prevention of cardiovascular disease, but she treats the entire person. Only she has been able to help me with gastrointestinal problem that many other physicians could not treat. To me it sounds like that previous patient is just an unhappy person. We have patients like that in our practice, maybe she is just a jealous person. I have learned in my many years as a nurse that you cannot make everyone happy, and that long wait times in the doctor’s office is an indication of focused individual care. That is the type of care Dr. Gaskill provides.

Rude & aloof. I have had several unpleasant experiences at this office. The wait times are unacceptably long; 2+ hours on one occasion without notice or explanation. The office manager later tried to charge me for cancelling an appointment the day before saying I was wasting their time. I then proceeded to write out an invoice for my 2 hour wait time & they backed down. Obviously they view themselves as superior to their patients & their time as far more valuable than mine. Despite her protestations to the contrary, Dr Gaskill is unaware of issues in her practice. I pointed out this fact with a letter I had sent about the above incidents that she had not been shown. She blamed this on the mail, I certainly hope 'the mail' doesn't interfere with her receiving patients' important test results in this way. I found the office & nursing staff curt & Dr Gaskill's attitude belittling, she spoke to me like a 5 yr old. (I'm a 40+ qualified nurse, midwife & mother of 3) I went to her office for a repeat Rx for medication totally unrelated to heart disease which she skipped right over & started berating me about my high pulse & quizzing me about my lifestyle. (No wonder my pulse was high, she was insulting!) I realize that Dr Gaskill is knowledgeable & passionate in her crusade against cardiovascular disease but it is almost to the point of 'tunnel vision'. She seems uninterested and disparaging about anything else. I will not be going back to her office.
