“They have the most delicious Salmon Teriyaki and their Super Crunch Roll is absolutely fantastic.”
“The sushi ended up being delicious, and we knew we'd found a new favorite sushi restaurant near our house.”
“but the same lady gives the worst service ever!”
One of the Greatest Places in Atlanta.
I absolutely LOVE this place.
It's a very small restaurant with perhaps four tables at the most. The windows are screened, which is great since you don't have people staring at you and interrupting your meals. The couple that run the place are husband and wife and are always SO accommodating. The sushi artist is absolutely AMAZING at what he does and the waitress has been so kind to us on every occasion. She's never given us an attitude and even stops to chat with us every now and then.
They have the most delicious Salmon Teriyaki and their Super Crunch Roll is absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend trying both of those.
They've even been known to treat us with a few things, like a free appetizer or a spicy tuna roll for us to share and try.
Honestly, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a new favorite sushi spot. I've never been disappointed with anything there, whether it be the food or the service, and most of my friends have come to love it as well.
Great Sushi, Great Decor, Terrible Service.
It's funny, we went there on a whim one night for the first time and it was completely dead. We were skeptical, but the lady that works there gave us complimentary Edamame and brought our food quickly as we were the only ones there. The sushi ended up being delicious, and we knew we'd found a new favorite sushi restaurant near our house.
Then every single time after that, the sushi and food have been great.. but the same lady gives the worst service ever! She is very short with us, and she is not willing to be very accommodating. For example, my neighbor was pregnant and asked for no masago and the waitress acted like this was such a hassle and made this big deal about how "but this is how it's made". They put the masago in there anyway. And another friend went there and asked for spicy mayonnaise in her roll and the waitress gave her the same attitude acting like it was such a hassle and that it doesn't come with that. And so my friend asked for it on the side and she still threw a fit about it.
I enjoy eating there, but knowing I'll have to deal with her bad attitude turns me off alot of times from going there. Also, the complimentary edamame was just a one time thing. Never happened again.
