Very disappointed in the food and service. Looks great on the outside but don't waste your time or money. Go to Provinos! It's a thousand times better.

Horrible Experience. Went for my birthday dinner on May 7th, 2011. The food we ordered was not good. We ordered their Tilapia and Stuffed Pork Chop. The description of the foods did not match the dish, whatsoever. Tilapia tasted like I bit into a stick of butter, angel hair pasta was dry and sticky. The porkchop was so tough, you could barely get a knife through it. We sent 1 dish back and decided to leave. The manager came over and apologized and dropped our to go dish on the floor and the proceded to scoop the leftovers into the dish. He told me he wished he would have known earlier that I was unhappy, he had some leftovers in the back he would have given me???? Anyway, we left our food on the table... 60 bucks later, still hungry and a terrible experience. Poor service and definitly not good Italian. Someone from another table came and told us that they were disappointed too and that this location had changed owners.

Great place for lunch. I ate there this past week for a business lunch, and had a great meal. The service was great and the food was outstanding. We ordered the crab cakes because we've heard about them from friends, and they did not disappoint. The crab cakes are the BEST that I've ever eaten. I got the mediteranean tortollini (hope I spelled correctly) and I loved the olives on it. I liked the atmosphere as well, it feels like a warm Italian rest., almost like home. Definitely coming back!

Service without a smile!. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!! I cannot believe this place. We were there on a Saturday night for dinner, expecting a quiet and relaxing meal. When we arrived, one of our party was a few minutes behind us, but my husband and I wanted to sit and have a glass of wine and appetizer. The hostess was EXTREMELY rude and abrasive. He questioned us wither or not our other friend would be there in time to order. I thought it was unusual, but thought nothing of it. As we finished our meal, the waitress brought the check and we paid the bill. We were still sitting there drinking our drinks and the same gentleman asked if we could move so they could seat another group. Our drinks were not finished and we were not in any hurry. We had only got the bill signed a few minutes before. His comment to us was that he sat us right away (well yeah, there were at least a half of a dozen tables empty. Isn't that what you are supposed to do????) and that we should get out of his way. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless you want to shove your food down and have to leave immediately.

So-so. Dominick's looks intriguing. It's on the corner and boasts an impressive menu. My wife and I decided to check it out last night. The garlic bread thrilled us. But, unfortunately, the rest of the meal was down hill from there.

Salad is not served with the meal which was a bit disappointing. To console ourselves we had the stuffed portabello mushrooms. They were good but nothing to brag about. For the main course she had the Shrimp Scampi and I had the Spicy Chicken & Sausage casserole. The noodles in the scampi sucked up the garlic and butter rendering the entire plate tasteless. The pasta in the casserole was dry and pretty tasteless as well.

Both meals looked quick and easy to make. This was in contrast to the 30+ minutes it took for the main course to be served.

The atmosphere was good. Nice seating and the serving staff were very good. This did not make up for the meal, however.

Bottom line - below average and definitely not worth the price.

ROmance in the air. Dominicks located in downtown Lawrenceville. Distinguished, polished ,romantic setting, friendly service, good food. You MUST have the wonderful too big crab cake sandwich, or there eggplant parmagiana. I don't always like the red pasta sauce it may too tart ,but that's ok I can always order something else. This restaurant and Aurora make an excellent romantic date.

The Garlic Bread is to die for!. The Garlic Bread is to die for!

As an appetizer, we got the Sicilian Crab Cakes. You get 2 pieces and they were filled with ALL CRAB, very little fillers. We also ordered a half Spinach salad and that was also great. We loved the dressing! As entrees, we ordered a half of the Dominick’s Chicken and a half of the Penne Casserole with Tiger Shrimp. By this time, we were both full but were able to take a few bites and they were both delicious. We took home the left over’s and they were still tasty following night. Great experience, we have also been to the other locations and they have never failed us.

NEVER AGAIN....THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE. we had our annual Christmas dinner for our company at dominick's this year.....NEVER again!!! they changed us from thursday night to wednesday night because the back room was booked on thursday night. when we arrived on wednesday night, they informed us, and could have cared less, that the back room was double booked. no apology, no nothing. they put us at a table by the back room. we had reservations for 17 people. the waitress sucked. she never refilled water or tea without being asked multiple times, two people in our party waited an hour for their food. one ordered chicken parmagiana and they brought veal out TWICE. the other meal, never came so he told the waitress to forget it and didn't want it anymore. when it was finally done (a medium rare steak, which takes no time to cook) the manager brought it out and approached us with, 'do you want this in a box?' didn's apologize for the delay or anything. when the gentleman told the manager he could have cooked it faster than that, the manager began yelling and berating the gentleman, completely uncalled for and unprofessional. they lost the business of 17 people that night...none of us will ever return. everywhere i go, i tell people, don't ever go there!!!!!
