Great local Italian Restaurant – My wife and I frequent this restaurant 3-4 times/month (we'd like to go more often...). We have always found the food quality to be very good (my wife's only complaint - a minor one - is their red sauce could be a little "sweeter" for her tastes), the service has always been very good. The Tortellini alla panna is scrumptious, the Lasagna is REALLY good, their pizza's are great, the seafood is fresh, and their specials are not to be missed! Portion sizes are right on target (you'll eat it all if you're really hungry and take home next day's lunch if you're not) and their prices make it a good value.
I don't think the negative reviews are real as I've never witnessed anything close to the situations described in the 2-3 bad reviews. As for the "kid friendly" complaint - personally, I hope the parents with squealing & squirming kids stay home (or go to Ci Ci's or Stevi B's) as we like to enjoy our dinners at Vincent's without the distraction of and noise from your ill mannered yard apes and rug rats!
We've taken family and visitors here frequently and never been disappointed. We always try to plan a weekly meal here. We'll be there this weekend!
Great food. – The food at Vincent’s is very good. I have never had a problem there and I have met Paul many times both at the restraint and around town. He has been very nice to me and my family when we come in. I have also seen him interact with other customers and he is always professional and polite. To the guy who wrote last, maybe you ask too many questions or you are mentally unstable. I have always enjoyed this place along with many other Marietta residents. It is always crowded with both new and regular customer. P.S. to the guy who wrote last, did you really call the cops for that and waste their time? In Boston we call people like you a RAT
NO Vincent's – This place has some serious problems. I called a moment ago and talked to the owner, Paul just to ask questions about the restaurant; had never heard of it before and saw an ad in the Savvy Shopper magazine. Because I was simply asking a question, he very rudely called me several ugly names, something to the effect of "no life pathetic person with nothing to do" and that I should not call his restaurant to ask the questions I was asking. By the way, the question only pertained to the ad in the magazine. I called back, thinking I must have misunderstood something. However, he then told me that if I called back again, he had my number and he would call the police. Folks, I have never in all my life had anyone do this because you call their restaurant to get information before placing an order. I called Cobb County Police myself to report the incident the moment after Paul, the owner of this restaurant, hung up on me. I will never set foot at this place. He is rude and obviously has some kind of mental disorder and instability to behave this way when a a patron calls his restaurant. Scratch them *OFF* the list for Italian restaurants. Don't even consider going here unless you are prepared to be treated in the most RUDE manner, if they serve you at all.
Not kid friendly – I took my 4 children there on a Sat. around 3:00 pm. They weren't busy, but it still took too long to be greeted
by our server. She was just casually walking about as if there was nothing to do. I wanted to order a regular
entree for my two young daughter's to share. She informed me that there would be a $4.50 sharing fee! I was floored! Really! For 45 cents more I could order another entree (lunch price), so I did. Of course neither one finished their meal. She looked at me as if I was being an idiot when I asked if there would be a $4.50 charge for my son & I to share a pizza. "NO MAMM!", she said rudely. Well, I needed to ask, didn't I? And why was I allowed to eat the salads that came with my daughter's meals without being charged $4.50? Hmmm.
The pizza was good. The pasta with meat sauce had no flavor. The service was very slow. She brought us the bill with the dinner price instead of the lunch price. When the manager brought the corrected bill to me, he didn't say a word. Not very good customer service. I'm surprised this place has made it so long in that building. The other places before them must have been horrendous!
