In Short When Jamaican-born Lowell Hawthorne decided to open a Bronx restaurant showcasing his favorite dishes from home, he had no idea his restaurant would eventually expand across ultiple states. The menu offers affordable tastes of Jamaica, including nine varieties of the chain's turnover-like "patties" in beef, chicken and fish. Also available are combo meals offering authentic dishes, including curried goat and jerk chicken, and traditional breakfast with ackee fruit or callallo and cod.
