“Food is still great being a food snob I will say not bad going from 1 to 2 but clientel very different, more kids at first location before 8 and seeing more kids before 8 at second location.”
“Low prices, decent food”
“So how many people think Cuban is Mexican, great food, service is getting better but still prefer to see the guy in the white coat, cool guy, will take his time to explain menu and recommend most popular (not his favorites), not bad for someone who could ”

“It had a nice tanginess to it and flavored with fresh cilantro, green olives, generous portions of spicy shredded beef and some other vegetables.”
Cold Chips.......Gay Waiter.
The quantity of food was really bad and they don?t bring you free salsa and chips, paid for them and the chips were cold!
The waiter that served us was hitting on my buddy??and we are straight!
Wont go back!!
Low prices, decent food.
I tried Salsa Havana for the first time last night, and I was very pleasantly surprised. It is never crowded, so I just assumed the food was lackluster. However, that was far from the case. I had the beef empanadas, which were a little bit greasy, but very very tasty overall....the filling was made of tiny bits of chopped beef and potatoes (as opposed to ground beef). It came with a delicious spicy salsa for dipping. I also ordered the beef and vegetable soup which was extremely good. It had a nice tanginess to it and flavored with fresh cilantro, green olives, generous portions of spicy shredded beef and some other vegetables. I will definitely be getting this dish again! I also ordered a shredded beef soft taco and a chicken soft taco. If you are willing to wait a little longer and pay an extra $1, you can order these with homemade corn tortillas. For just $6.95, you can choose any two taco and it comes with a side dish or a rice/black bean combo. I typically don't enjoy rice/black beans, but their's was very tasty....lots of flavor!
Overall, I would definitely recommend giving this place a shot...I think it is just under the radar and once people try the food they will definitely return......I plan on adding it to my regular carry-out rotation!!
best Cuban/Latin fusion. So how many people think Cuban is Mexican, great food, service is getting better but still prefer to see the guy in the white coat, cool guy, will take his time to explain menu and recommend most popular (not his favorites), not bad for someone who could be protective. Lithuanian servers very pretty but sometimes Russian cold, been to both places, location in East side is cooler just needs some live music. Food is still great being a food snob I will say not bad going from 1 to 2 but clientel very different, more kids at first location before 8 and seeing more kids before 8 at second location...maybe the Cuban version of TGIF, just 1 step up, in the making.
