Horrible service

I had a reservation made for me for my birthday and we got seated right away, but only to sit there for 30+ minutes with no one to come serve us at all. All the workers would just look at us and walk away. The hostess, especially, knew we were disgruntled but she just give us a dirty look and walked away. The busboy felt bad for us and eventually came to try to help, but he shouldn't have had to...he even said I'm just the busboy but I saw you sitting there and not getting any service. At this point I'm already super peeved so we left to go to Divan. These people don't care about their customers at all...they should be ashamed of all the comments about bad service they get and should consider getting some new staff.

There are better places

I called several days in advance to make a reservation and let them know how many people would be in the party. However, when we arrived, they could not find our reservation and treated us as if we were making it up. Then they decided to seat us, but they sat 8 of us in a crammed section of the restaurant without any apologies. The server was very cold and behaved as though she was doing us a favor by even serving us at all. The first thing she did was ID everyone, assuming that we were all interested in either drinking/hookah. That, added to the fact that Ibiza has ridiculous rules about everyone having to spend $15 minimum and no separate checks, was enough for us. We walked out and went over to Taverna Plaka where we had a wonderful evening. Delicious food. Awesome service. Great spirits. Cute servers. Incredible experience. This, I would say is a better place to truly get a mediterranean experience. At Plaka, they actually care about you having a good experience and are not out ther just for your money.

the service sucks

the waiters suck. we had over 10 people and we were in the VIP section.

there was a belly dance, but the VIP section couldn't see anything unless the dancer came in.

we waited for a long time to get the server to take our order.

we ordered wine and also water with lemon. but we never get lemon.

the food didn't arrive at the same time. 2-3 of us were eating. the rest of us were drinking wine or water. we were out of water. the server came and asked us whether everything was ok. i was like, we didn't have water, and we didn't have silverware. then we waited for another 10-15 min. the rest of us got our food. still, some of us don't have silverware which we've already asked for at least 3 times.

2 of us ordered lamb shank and 2 of us ordered baby lamb chops. When the baby lamb chops arrived, that server said that was lamb shank. i reconfirmed twice coz he had an accent. he still said those were the lamb shank. when the real lamb shanks arrived, the waiter was so rude and told me those obviously were not lamb shanks. but the other server told me those were lamb shanks..... he didn't apologize. he was very rude and just told me i was wrong. he put down the food and didn't even explain.

and we asked for silverware again. finally we got one for everyone.

the food was great.

they charged us 20% gratuity. if i had a choice, i would not pay that much tip. the service was terrible.
