No longer what it used to be!. So disappointed! This used to be one of our favorite Thai restaurants in ATL. Not only was the food excellent, but it was also at the right price.

Unfortunately things have changed at Thai Silk. No longer is it BYOB. (they tried charging a corkage fee, which is completely understandable) but have nixed that policy in favor of a limited, overpriced bar.

In addition, parties of 5 or more will be subject to 20% included gratuity.

Note that the 2 for $20 menu is hard to pass up, but you will be charged gratuity on the “pre-discount menu price”, while tax is calculated on the actual total… On our last visit this equated to a 32% tip.

Oh well. There are many other fabulous Thai restaurants competing for business in Atlanta. Thai Silk, you will be missed.

Awesome Thai food. Don't miss out on this one. Wonderful sushi. Great martinis. The entrees were incredible and the prices were very reasonable. Everyone in our party of five left fully satified. I'll be visiting Rama 5 again.

Best Spring Rolls!!. I highly recommend Rama5. It is never too crowded, you can always get a seat. Their patio is nice if you want to sit outside. The stand-out quality of the restaurant is definately the food! I have had several of the noodle dishes, all are good. As well as several of the curries. The Chicken Panang and Green Shrimp Curry are very good! My favorite item is their fried Spring Rolls. They are delicate and taste handmade (not too much fried wrapping) and the dipping sauce is amazing! Spring rolls are some of my favorite things to eat at Thai restaurants and these truly are among the best I've ever had. I go there several times a month for these. Their menu alsways has a few specials that are not on your typical Thai menus. The service is friendly and the managers/owners are personable and always remember us. The only thing that I will suggest is that if you like your food spicy, request that it be extra spicy. A few times when I have asked for extra hot it wasn't as spicy as I had hoped. Must go, must order spring rolls.

Thai food is phenomenal. Food and service is consistently outstanding!!! Everything I've ever ordered was delicious! I've been a customer for over 6 years.

Best sushi and thai in the city. Reasonable prices and you can always get a table!!!. I've been coming here for years and it is so good. Every week, whether I order the same thing or something different, it has been consistently good. The atmosphere isn't 5*, but the sushi and thai are killer. With take-out as an option, it elevates this restaurant because they always have it ready to go. I love the food here and have been SO many times! Its wonderful!

Simply the Best!!. My boy friend and I visited Atlanta last week. We opened the phone book at the hotel deciding which restaurant we would choose. I saw Rama 5 out of all the pages in the phone book and we decided to dine there. Upon arriving we were impressed by the atmosphere and the seating selection. That is just the beginning to say the least. The food was unreal. The service was off the charts. Not one time did we have to ask for anything. I have never been to a restaurant and had everything so well. I would have paid double than the ticket cost. I recommend this restaurant above any other. Also it was raining out when we left. The staff was there holding umbrellas over us to the car. I hate that we live so far away or I would treat myself there weekly. I hope this comment is read by many and you too will enjoy dining at its ultimate best!!!

Best Thai restaurant and sushi bar in Atlanta. I eat at RAMA 5 up to three times per week . The atmosphere,food and service are second to none. The proffesional and friendly staff treat you as if you are a guest in there own home. The food is allways delicious. I highly reccomend RAMA 5. Eat and enjoy all this great establishment has to offer.

In Response to Mr. Hyundai Comment. Thank you for your comment on our restaurant and we do appreciate your time for that. Mr. Goldenboy316 had expressed his opinion on our restaurant because him and his wife were very pleased with the meal and our services. It was just one of our happy customers and Our restaurant has been highly regarded in the past years and the management of Rama 5 will never compromise to the lower standard of the food quality or services. We always strive to be the leader of the pack not just another Thai restaurant.

I was very surprised that you did not mention about the bad services you received on Friday night to the floor manager until you read the Goldenboy review. Based upon my experiences, if any of our customers wasn't happy with the service, he or she would speak to the floor manager and I assure you the manager would rectify the problem immediately.

I would like to welcome you back to our restaurant and we will prove to you how serious we are with our business.

It's not true as Goldenboy316 Said. It seems that the owner of the restaurant wrote the recommendation by himself..

I was there on last Friday Night... It wasn't as the Goldenboy316 said....

The servers weren't that nice.... The food was O.K, but not like he recommended...

Guyssssss... Pls think about this... If you are a customer..... Do u gonna recommend and explain how wonderful the restaurant like that???? We are not stupid man..... Pls don't do like that...

Great Thai Food in Buckhead!. My favorite food is Thai food. My wife and I decided to try Rama 5 on Friday night. Once we got there, we were amazed by their friendly staff from the host to the wait staff. Since Rama 5 also serves Sushi, we ordered the Buckhead Maki and it was exceptional. The presentation was great and the taste of that roll is still in my mouth, great job!. We then were recommended by our server to try Jumbo Prawn w/Thai Basil Sauce in a hot plate. So I ordered one and my wife ordered the Pineapple Chicken. All I could say is Great dishes. It was a memorable dinner for both my wife and myself. By the way, forgot to mention that the place was clean and was well decorated too.

I will definitely tell all my friends about this great restaurant in Buckhead.....Keep up a good work!
