If you want an cozy yet eclectic place to have coffee, meet friends, have a meeting or simply view the great art you have to visit Gathering Grounds. The owners are supportive of the community and always available with a friendly smile. The staff is consistent and make you feel like you are right at home. Visit this trippy little shop soon!

Very Family Friendly. I love this coffee shop and the neighborhood feel it provides. I really like the coffee, especially because it doesn't taste like Aurora or Starbucks. Our family attends Pajama Storytime every Wednesday night at 7pm. We love getting out for cocoa, dessert, and bedtime stories on a winter night. Our kids have a blast. Gathering Grounds is very family friendly.

Wonderful Place!. You have to check out Gathering Gounds located in Historic Kirkwood. The shop is in an old brick building next to Kirkwood Feed and Seed, which is equally as nice. Gathering Grounds boasts wonderful owners and staff with yummy treats for everyone! The coffe is Inteligentsia(sp?) and VERY good. Oversized muffins and cookies will leave your tummy full and a smile on your face!

great atmosphere, weak coffee. i stepped in and immediately fell in love with the decor. warm colors and comfy seats that invite you to plug up your laptop and hang. i ordered a regular cup of joe and was a bit disappointed. it just did not have that yummy taste that shop's like aurora have. staff was friendly, however.

The friendly staff and comfy decor with varied seating options lends to a convivial atmosphere. The shop offers a limited selection of baked goods and a full range of beverages, including such signature espresso beverages as well as frozen jet tea.

What a wonderful place!!. What a great place for a relaxing cup of coffee and some friendly conversation. The owners and staff are so friendly and helpful. The coffee is great and so is the coffee cake.

The atmosphere is really warm and inviting. There are comfy places to sit and chat or read. There is plenty of room for small, informal meetings. I really like it and go several times a week to meet friends. Check it out!!!
