Home Away From Home. The Tin Roof for me is the bar equivalent of comfort food. Despite the fact I only live a couple of blocks away, I wouldn't go here if the place sucked, and the fact I come 3 days/week on average would tend to reflect that it doesn't.

The food is solid... depending on who is cooking, some days are better than others. However it's the atmosphere that draws me in... very relaxed, and I've never been to a place that has so many regulars that all mesh so well together. Bartenders and servers are all cool, the drinks are relatively cheap and strong, and they stay open late for the night owl.

I'd definitely recommend "The Roof" to anyone. Matter of fact, I think I just talked myself into a visit. See you there!

Decent hangout spot. Tin Roof is a good place to hang out if you're kind of tired and don't really feel like doing the whole mid-town,Virginia Highlands bar hopping thing.

The patio area is great, especially if you're looking to have a few beers and good conversation with your buddies. The musical performers are usually pretty decent and as are the drinks. The food however sucks, so I would recommend eating elsewhere before arriving. It also seems to me like the place is busier in the fall for football season, and kind of dead in the spring( which can be a good thing depending on your point of view). Overall, not a bad place.

Tin Roof, I LOVE YOU!!. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world to have the Tin Roof Cantina in my neighborhood! Their JionCarlo wings are the best thing I've ever tasted! And the beer even tastes better there, maybe it's because of the awesome atmosphere and friendly, cool people. I also love their fish tacos and my son goes crazy for their Fries and Guacamole. I get over to the Tin Roof Cantina at least once a week to chill out, drink a cold one and eat awesome food while listening to cool music. Great place for Trivia too!

Hang Out Spot. I love this place. My friends and I usually only go here on saturday nights, and the place is banging. There is always a huge crowd and usually a live band that plays on friday and saturdays.

I have had a couple of birthday there and the guys are really cool about it, they let me bring in my own Keg and party all night. We had to pay them a little, but not as much as if people had bought drinks off the bar.

The food here isn't anything special, its just like regualr bar food so dont expect anything more. This place is more of a hangout spot.

The drinks here are also really cheap and strong also.

Great Drinks!. It is a great place to chill after work and even better on the weekends. The drinks are the best and they have a small stage for live music.

great food, and good prices. I went here with a few girlfriends today for lunch and we had a great time. Service was on point, and the foos was great. And plus of all pluses, the drinks were cheap. I thank you, but I am sure my boss does not! hehe.

Great Service!. It was the birthday of my sister and she would like to try a new place .. so we went to Tin Roof... The food needs a little improvement .. but we were able to handle .. all in all it was a good experience... the service was perfect though .. especially when they knew it was my sisters birthday ..

Affordable beer. My brother and I went to this place together with his girlfriend for a good night out. The place was good, but the food was not what we expected. It was not fresh and it tasted a little off.. They have good cheap beer though, which we enjoyed.

cheap beer, but that's it. this can be a good place to go to if you're looking to get sloshed, but the food ain't good. The wings looked undercooked and the salsa was too watery. it took them close to 15 minutes to get the food out. the beer is cheap though, so maybe they're hoping you won't notice the food if you drink a lot?
