Downey acting was super in this movie ( almost as good as Charlie Chaplan ) I Thought the movie has a strong plot and the makers took their time to put the pieces together from the romance of Patrow and Downey characters to the Iron Man Suits (which was amazingly filmed and connected together.)

Pros: go see it

I go to a lot of movies, and I have to say the reviewer who panned this movie must have a seriously skewed sense of entertainment. While I freely admit that the character development was not as good as Spider Man, it was much better than most comic book movies. The special effects are believable, the action is quite good, and the acting is OK. My only problem with the whole thing is that the villian is too obvious. Well, that and the depth of the arc reactor (where is his heart and lungs?). Overall it was good, solid entertainment. No, it was not CIA propaganda. IF you truly believe the CIA is behind movies, you need to see only Disney films, and be selective at that. IF you are like me, and just want to see a good movie and not have to feel bad about myself because of it, then IRON MAN is a good choice until Indy 4 comes out.

Pros: Special effects, good entertainment

Cons: obvious plot twists
