Ok Sushi, Poor Service. Well the first time I went to Starfish, I must say that I was impressed. The service was excellent, as the waitstaff was very attentive. The sushi rolls weren't phenomenal, but they were pretty tasty.

Service is really big for me, and since they provided that, I decided to return, but this time with a larger group to celebrate a friend's birthday.

Much to my dismay, the customer service was horrendous. The waitress and the manager continuously hounded us about whether or not we were all paying together or if we needed separate checks (we told them each time what our preference was).

Additionally, the rude waitress kept trying to clear plates from the table that we were still eating from! I almost had to stab her in the hand with my chopsticks to keep my food!

The rudest of them all was the manager, who calls herself Kay.

Maybe they just had a bad night, but this was enough for me to never return. There are several other Sushi restaurants in Buckhead and in Atlanta period. If I were you, I'd choose one of them.

Absolutely Amazing Sushi. My friend brought me here a couple of weeks ago when we felt like eating sushi. We felt like trying something new, so were very happy to see so many different types of fish that we had never heard of. It was also really nice that they let you order one piece of sushi at a time so that we wouldn't be stuck with a plate full of something that we didn't like. We started out with a couple pieces of the usual tuna and salmon, then ordered some new fish like the golden eye snapper and the albacore. All of the fish were really fresh and tasty. I defiitely plan on coming here again really soon.

Nice sushi spot in Buckhead. I ate at Starfish last week when a date suggested it. We had great service. It was neither intrusive nor neglectful. We had the ika, which was just okay. I've certainly had better. The jellyfish was very good. We also had a selection of rolls and I enjoyed them.

I would visit again.

Inventive sushi rolls. My husband and I went on a Sunday evening and had a great experience. Parking is easy ..they have spots labeled for their customers on the second level of the parking garage. We love interesting maki rolls and they had plenty to choose from! We especially loved the Ring Roll and The Longest Yard Roll. It wasn't busy and the service was great. The prices were good.. I would return if I lived here to try more of these inventive rolls!

Best sushi I've had in Atlanta.. Their spicy tuna was especially good (it has some different name, though). The food was exceptional, although we had some problems with service. The food took forever to come and then we couldn't flag anyone down to let them know that they had completely forgotten to bring half the food. Even still, I recommend it. It was the best sushi I've had in Atlanta.

Very Relaxing. It's Sunday evening, 90 degrees out. Why would someone go out? Fortunately we did. Went to Starfish for the first time and had a really enjoyable time. The food was tasty and yes...creative. The sushi and sashimi were fresh and presented very nicely. They served little unexpected surprises throughout the meal that were delicious. The service was very attentive although it was not very crowded. It would appear that they were very anxious to make everyone happy from the food to the music they played which consisted of contemporary artists singing old standards. Dining at Starfish was a great way to relax and wind down after a busy weekend and get ready for the new week. Oh, parking is great too. Take a right into the covered parking underneath the Aramore and go to the second level. They have reserved parking spaces. So, in the order it all occurred.....easy to find and park, good service, tasty generous servings of fresh fish, relaxing ambience. What more can you ask for? We'll be back!

Best sushi in atlanta!. This sushi restaurant is like a hidden gem in Buckhead. The fish is fresh, the food is about as authentic Japanese as I have seen in Atlanta, and the service is second to none. Given the choice of MF Sushi Bar(pretentious, noisy and overrated) or Starfish, I would gladly choose Starfish! Do yourself a favor and give it a try,I can promise you will be back for more.

The only place to go for sushi!!. I took my date here. I had never been so it was a little risky, but the place turned out to be great. We got a nice cozy table in the corner. The place was fairly quiet, and it made us feel like we were the only ones there...very romantic. The servers were very courteous and prompt...probably some of the friendliest folk I've ever met at a restaurant. The sushi was great. All of their fish tasted amazing. They were really fresh. I eat sushi all the time, and this place by far had the best fish in town. My date and I also had a ton of fun with the menu. Their special rolls are named after movies like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and the Ring Roll (both of which I highly recommend). We had such a great experience here that this is the only place we go for sushi now. I also brought all of my family and friends here, and everyone thought it was really great. I completely addicted to this place, and I'm sure anyone who goes there is going to love it.
