Great food, great service, great value. No matter what we order, my husband and I are consistently happy with this restaurant!

Bad Food and Know it all ATTITUDE. Live in the neighborjood and thought we would drop by for dinner, had gone there a few years ago but no real memory of anything spectacular,,,which is what I expect from a place that is extravagent in it's design and structure..." But this is about Food not architectural design,,which they seemed to miss...

It was bad from dish one,,,,,a big iceburg blob of salad with some sugary dressing I think they said was ginger,,,,,it was awful..Then the appetizers,,,,even worse, some mush of dumplings with some weird sauce....And it was like $10 for this terrible appetizer..

The whole time, waiters are picking their teeth and wandering around,.,,Kind of creepyyyyyy"" I was hoping they werem't using the silverware... and they just seemed tol be clueless about FOOD...My girlfriend started to wonder if we were everhoing to have any decent bites of anything,,We were starving,,,after a few glasses of wine,,,,which must have been the cheapest chardonay they could find,,,but didn't mind charging for it..

Then our main course arrived,,,,and it was not worth the wait...!!! Some brown sauce goo with frozen vegetables,,,with like 2 pieces of chicken the size of a large bug,,,,When we complained about our meal,,,telling our waiter how below ordinary it was,,,He just shrigged and said " I just work here...That said it all...

AQUA BISTRO,,,,,not for people who know good food,,,,,,I will not recommend this dunp t anyone,, when you have the Fish Market across thye street,,,,which is great...

FINAL ANALYSIS::: Not near as good as a 100 Buford Hwy hole in the wallls,,,which are a third of the price,,,,OVER Priced and food is extremely poor quality

Great food, horrible service!. Living in the neighborhood for 3 years I have dined here many times, often on Monday for the half off sushi, because the prices are a bit inflated.

Unfortunately I have yet to have one good experience with any of the waitstaff, one female server in particular that never smiles, is borderline rude, and never remembers a retuning customer, she does just what she has to do and acts as if she hates her job.

The other guys run around like crazy doing the best that they can do, but you can tell the staff is left completely overwhelmed with no manager in site.

Basically it's a great deal, food is great, but I wouldn't bring a date or business associate to dine….

Delicious food, nice decor; will go back for more!. The food was simply delicious. Sweet potato fries and edamame for shared appetizers which were both tasty. We had Kung Pao chicken, Spicy Basil chicken (not breaded, yeah!) and Curry Fried rice for entrees. The décor is nice. Our waitress was friendly. We had a Groupon deal for this restaurant. I am very glad that I did. We will definitely go again and might make a special trip just to dine there.

Disappointment. I have been to Aqua Bistro a handful of times. Each visit has been a downward digression, and I left last night promising not to revisit the restaurant.

Their service is consistently slow! We had to ask for napkins, utensils, and my water glass was empty most of the night. Their sushi is not the worst, but it is not great sushi. They are not big rolls. The flavors are not fresh, and I feel like are just smothered in sauce. For the same price at other Buckhead sushi restaurants you can get amazing rolls. (Go to GENKI instead!!!!)

The servers have been less than friendly in my experiences there. Right off the bat we were asked if we were using a coupon or gift code, and I feel like since we were, we got discounted service. Aqua Bistro promotes themselves often on GroupOn or Half Off Depot, but then they no longer allow you to use your gift certificates in conjunction with their daily specials.

We asked to validate our parking, they told us it was already validated, and sure enough when we left the garage in back (which is labeled Aqua Bistro parking) we had to pay another $3.

Avoid at all costs. I've been coming here for a while but recently made the mistake of trying to use a coupon here. The manager refused to take it the first time b/c they were running a sushi special (understandable), so our server told us to order a full price bottle of wine next time and use the coupon to pay for that. Next week, we did just take, only to be told that our coupon was again invalid. The manager told us that she'd been "watching us" the past few weeks, and then the server literally lied to our faces about ever suggesting the bottle of wine to allow us to use the coupon. I've never been so attacked and disrespected by a manager. Now it makes sense why the place is always empty. Don't offer coupons if you don't want people to use them, and don't accuse customers of lying. There are so many wonderful sushi places in Atlanta with delicious food and great service; don't ever go here.

Still a Fan. I started driving from the southside to AB back in early 2006. I can say that there are only a few other places that have better sushi. However, for the price you pay & the great service that I always receive I will still continue to support this establishment. I love the weekly specials including the $5 martinis on Wednesdays, Sergi is the man & I love him!

Half off Sushi on Mondays!. Passing through Atlanta, GA on a Monday (June 8, 2009) - we ate here late night after a Brave's game. The restaurant was conviently open until 11:00, and had half off sushi as it was Monday! Dim room with bright neon lights created a modern, hip atmosphere.

The sushi was definitely worth it, it was not too extravagant but matched the price of around ~$12-15 for 6-8 rolls (not including the half off). Although I am usually one to actually stay away from California Rolls because I like the more raw sushi, the most memorable was a California Roll dipped in Tempura and Fried. The Crunchy Crunchy Roll (my boyfriend enjoys crunchier sushi) was not very crunchy at all and was the bigger food disappointment.

The service was slower paced, as the night was dying down and the waitresses were getting restless to leave. It could have definitely been better but not bad enough to complain about. As many sushi restaurants have, there was a glass table where people could watch the chefs make the sushi.

Quirks: The bathroom was down a long hallway with a TV projected on the mirror - the sounds of the TV definitely startled me as I thought someone was following me into the bathroom! We also saw the waitresses take shots at around 10:30 PM.

Highly recommended for great food - not service though. To the previous poster, is it necessary to curse and take personal what someone else posted? Get over yourself and let otheres voice their opinion and experience without being so ghosh darn sensitive and ugly (unless you are the owenr and/or work there - but still...)!

I went there for lunch and though the service wasn't too great, the food was delicious. I don't like sushi and found many other great things to choose from. I left there telling all of my friends about the place. I highly recommend for great food, not service.
