Zip n' Clip is CLOSED. The owner of Zip 'n Clip closed the GA Tech location and Akilah is now at The Cutting Room in VA Highlands (under same ownership).

I concur on the great value for the price at the closed location, and hope for the best when I visit The Cutting Room in a few days.

Did Zip 'N Clip close down?. Why is it whenever I find a place that gives a great cut at a reasonable price, they seem to shut down? I passed by Zip N Clip yesterday and it looks like they have closed down. Their online reservation system isn't working either.

AWESOME!!. Wonderful customer service at a great price!!!!! Don't let the looks of this salon fool you...these girls know what they are doing! Sherri was awesome! I loved the cut and she took the time to flat iron my hair perfectly. For only 32 bucks I got an awesome haircut and a flatiron that took 1 hour just to get it straight. I've had many people charge me up to 75 bucks for a flatiron style and it never looked as good as when Sherri did it! I'd definately go back and highly recommend this salon!

A Million Bucks!. I have never truely been pleased with any stylist until I met Akilah. I have very thick curly hair that has always been hard to manage. I have visited many high end, expensive salons and have never been satisfied. Yet, I would keep on searching hoping to find someone out there who's talent is pure magic. Finally a friend suggested I try Akilah. I went to her not expecting too much for only $14. However, since I had been so disappointed in the past, I decided to give it a shot. WOW!!! I came out of her chair looking and feeling like a million bucks! She relaxed my curly hair and gave me an incredibly stylish razor cut to take out some of the thickness. My hair looks great and is manageable for the first time in my life. Thank you Akilah, your talent is pure magic!!!

High End Stylist/ Half the Prices. This salon is awesome! The stylists here are highly skilled and trained to give you high end salon results for half the price! Akilah Buggs(stylist) is highly talented and delivers great service! It's nice to know that you can get your hair relaxed and trimmed without going broke at the same time!

Excellent!. I am very excited about my new stylist Akilah. she is not only an excellent stylist but she also takes great care of my hair. I love the excitement she has for her what she does, in fact she seems to enjoy the transformation process more than her customers.

I don't just think of her as a stylist ,but as my image consultant. If you are ever looking for a new look , give her a call.

Don't get attached. I recently started going to this salon..one it's close to work and my favorite stylist WAS there, yes I said was....She is no longer there so to everyone I say "STOP, DON'T GO". This salon will not even be around long in my opinion......The salon has one girl working in it now and if you think you are getting in and getting out...well timing would be everything. If you are looking to find the next great stylist that you can just count on to keep you looking fab this summer and for many seasons to come....keep looking because even if you like this place chances are the stylist won't be there very long...apparently the owners don't know good talent when they have it in their salon.
