In Short – With its classical music, ambient lighting and artful displays, this pricey North Carolina-based chain adds a touch of class to the mundane chore of grocery shopping. Along with top-of-the-line meat, seafood and produce sections, the store carries hard-to-find spices, coffees, fresh herbs, wines and prepared dishes. Baked goods, especially homemade fruit pies and French pastries, are particularly noteworthy. Bins of fresh flowers, gourmet gift baskets and imported candy add to the store's appeal.

Neigborhood Foodie Heaven! Terrific Prepared Foods!

Within just a short stroll from our Brookwood home, is pure gourmet Heaven. Alot smaller than WholeFood's, but just as good, and not the crazies. Prepared food items are wonderful, especially four kinds of daily made Chicken Salads. Our favorite is the Rotissiere Chicken Salad. Terrific fresh seafood, and the baked goods are heaven. We love the frozen Gelato selection also. Run-in and grab a bouquet of flowers, a few prepared goodies, and you are home in a flash. Easy parking, but a nice litte walk, for us in the neighborhood.
