Not impressed.. It wasn't very good at all... 3 chorizo meatballs were $8, and didn't taste like chorizo at all. The charcuterie and cheese was really the only thing I liked, even with the oversalted prosciutto, and it was like $8 for 3 slices of prosciutto, 3 slices of lomo, and 3 chunks of cheese. And the $18 fried chicken took way too long to "make" and tasted like they boiled it first. It was soggy.

Not a good experience. Contrary to many of the reviews on this site, my experience at this restaurant was absolutely horrible. Maybe they were just having a bad day, but too many things were just extremely wrong about this place, to call it anything close to a dining experience. The seating was uncomfortable, the environment was dark, warm, and humid with a bunch of fruit flies all over the place. The food was about as poor in quality as possible. We ate the gumbo as an appetizer and it including some spoiled shrimp, totally disgusting. I give them a pass on this one, could have just been one bad little shrimper in a batch of good. Too play it safe, I ordered a burger as an entree, however, I had to send it back to the kitchen because it was absolutely charred beyond belief! The second time it came out, I was expecting something better, however, again the same result, an un-edible burger. I had an $8 glass of what they called white sangria. They basically took their cheapest white wine and served it up, are they joking? This place is a nightmare, I would never spend my money here again, its way over-priced for food that is absolutely horrible. Save your time and money, avoid this place.

Atlanta's best barbecue. I never thought I'd say this, but my favorite barbecue isn't Fox Bros or Community Cue, or even Harolds. It only happens once a week at an international-style gastropub of all places. In a slick mix-use development in Inman Park. Really.

Every Monday night, P'cheen lets cooking badass Mike LaSage run the kitchen, with Mike's Bone Lick BBQ. Holy awesome. Ribs are smoky and dry, pork goes the NC-style with a vinegar bite, chicken tastes like it's been in a smoker for days... I know there are some good sides and such, but the 'cue is where it's at. So this Monday, take my word for it and hit a place that features DJ's and soccer matches for ... Atlanta's best barbecue.

All-you-can-eat crab legs and so much more.. Taking residence in newly revitalized 4th Ward is a recipe for greatness. And P'cheen is no exception. It's hard to put P'cheen in one category. It's equal parts pub, international restaurant, and art gallery. A good friend recommended that I come to P'Cheen for months. I finally made the journey there specifically to partake in their "All-You-Can-Eat Snow Crab" Wednesdays. Upon entering, I was intrigued by decor and faux finished walls with intricate pencil drawings throughout. Reservations are recommended for the crab night on Wednesdays, because it was packed. It took about 15-20 minutes to get seated, even with reservations. Once seated, we were ready for a lively drink to spark the night off right. We started with the featured specialty cocktails of a cosmopolitan and lemon drop martini. Suffice to say, we were underwhelmed by the bland concoction. I took a survey of the room, and saw most patrons with either wine or beer. A good enough sign if any that the bar game is not where it should be. We continued the night with white wine, in which we were thoroughly pleased given the small selection to choose from. Once the crab started coming out, it was superb. Perfectly seasoned and hot with delicate potatoes, corn, and a fresh baguette. A good tip is to get there early for the crab on Wednesdays; they stop serving it to walk-ins after 10:30pm or so to make sure there is enough to go around for the guests that made reservations. After we had our fill of sweet snow crab, we perused the menu for future outings. The menu outside of the crab is none to shabby. Selections from bacon-wrapped garlic chicken to Guinness battered fish & chips to Thai-style steak salad, by all definitions run the gambit of flavor and international food techniques. P'cheen simply shines with ambiance and internationally inspired food. Check out their website for monthly events, featured artists, and weekly music sets by top Atlanta DJs.

Lame Service. The food here is usually good. The service is a miss by some employees, usually those with a lot of cool tats or Kangol hats.

This gastropub sets a creative standard in the 04W.. In Short
P'Cheen is Gaelic for "moonshine" and the owners are spot-on with this bit of low-lit Euro-luminosity in a recharged neighborhood. A pioneer of the gastropub movement and the Old 4th Ward dining scene, this burnt amber-hued and shabby-chic spot went from a cutting edge rarity to a neighborhood favorite. The friendly and accent-heavy bartenders remember your name and your drink, while the menu combines European favorites with a touch of delicate, better-than-average bar treats. Guinness beer battered fish-and-chips and traditional shepherd's pie leave the overseas-influence in tact, while the grilled Angus burger and curried muscles offer a sense of comfort and sophistication. They drag out a smoker for Mike’s Bone Lick BBQ on Mondays, ho-humming their way to the city’s best all-around ‘cue. Constantly pushing the gastro-definition, P'Cheen smartly brings in DJ's for after-hours and has local art on display for sale.

we are regulars. It was originally advertised as an Irish pub but there isn't much to that. Even the servers don't really know that is supposed to be the theme. But it is very comfortable to hang out and the crowd really gets kickin around 11:30 or so. I think other reviews are being too hard on these guys. Its a great place!

Great neighborhood place. I just moved in the area and love this place. Interesting menu, prices are great, and the service staff is friendly. Grreat beer selection as well!

Good....Lacking in Beer Selection. I really like P'cheen's food and I enjoy going, but they really need to develop a better beer selection. A few rotating High Gravity beers just don't cut it. They need better MicroBrew selections.

Relaxing, Enjoyable, and Friendly Staff!!!. So... I just recently moved up to Atlanta and I have been here twice within one week! The first time was with a few friends for drinks. The second was for ALL YOU CAN EAT crab legs on Wednesday nights! Yum, very delicious! They have the best selection of beer! BE SURE to ask about their HIGH GRAVITY BEER!!! The atmosphere is casual, relaxing, and very chill! You get an immediate feeling of comfort as soon as you walk in. The people are very friendly. I had a question for our waitor and he did whatever it took to find the solution for me. The manager/ owner that could answer my question, immediately came over to my table. He was very personable and friendly. He answered my question and I was completely satisfied. Its a wonderful place to hang out and enjoy your company. Not sure if it is every night, but they definitely have music on some of the nights! I was completely satisfied with the service and will definitely be going back!!! Highly Highly Recommended!!!!
