Horrible Experience. My husband, mother, and myself all decided to eat here for dinner one night. When we walked into the restaurant and put our name in they told us it would be about a 30 min wait. We were happy with that estimate and decided to sit and wait. (Take note we were 3 of 5 white people TOTAL waiting in the waiting area)

After about 45 minutes went by (and we still hadn't been seated at a table) my husband went up to check on the status of a table for the 3 of us. The girl at the front told us that they didn't have any tables open and that it would be a little longer. My husband said, 'ok' and sat back down next to me. About 2 minutes later a group of 3 African American people came in and walked up to the booth. They asked how long the wait was and the girl (who was also African American) asked how many they had. He held up 3 fingers and she seated them immediately!!! We had been sitting there for almost an hour and was told minutes before they came in that there were NO tables open for three people!

My husband was FURIOUS at this point and confronted the girl at the desk. She completely ignored him like he wasn't even there! We decided to walk over to CPK and we were greeted immediately, waited 5 minutes, sat down at a table, and had the most wonderful server! (who was also African American). My husband wrote a letter to Cheesecake Bistro's corporate office telling them about our horrible experience and they NEVER replied.

Obviously they don't care about their company or their customers. We have made a vow to NEVER eat there again and to tell everyone we know about our AWFUL experience.

Ick!!. I recently had lunch here and it was awful. The food was good, but the entire front of the house needs a makeover or at least an intense deep-cleaning. First off, they were not busy, yet several tables remained dirty for most of our time there. The wall next to our table had something splattered all over it. There is a strong smell throughout the restaurant, like old food. Maybe they need to shampoo the carpets? The smell was so bad that my boyfriend couldn't even eat his meal. We ended up taking it to go.

The service was not very good. As a 21-year veteran of the restaurant industry, I am a good tipper. I generally tip in the 20-30 percent range, depending on the quality of service. This girl got 10 percent from us. I don't know if she was new or just not good at her job, but she did not seem comfortable talking to us at all. She wasn't rude, just seemed like she didn't know what she was doing. The service was slow too. Maybe her fault? Maybe the kitchen? If she was still training, somebody should have told us and we would have been more understanding.

At least one of the servers had his pants hanging halfway down his butt. I can't believe management lets him get away with that.

The food itself was good, no complaints there. I had the BBQ shrimp linguini and my boyfriend had the chicken marsala. Both were tasty and we took them home to eat later. The price was fair too. They have lunch-sized portions at around $10 a plate.

This was my first time at this location and it will be my last. I have had good experiences at both the Buckhead and Vinings locations, so I figured the Atlantic Station location would be good too. Nope.

Top Notch. Being a full figured woman, and I do mean full, lots of places don't make enough room for us anymore. Seeing as it's not "politically correct" to be fat today!! However, the people made sure I was comfortable. The waitress checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed, and the food was outstanding!!! The manager that evening seemed to be very observant and did his best to accomodate EVERYONE!! Not just the "snooty" crews or the ones that looked like they have money. That means a lot today, especially in a world that caters to the well to do.

The rating of 2 1/2 stars has got to be a disgruntled customer who just didn't get their way, because my experience was WONDERFUL!! Keep up the great work and ignore the HATERS!!

Sub par everything. service was not up to any standard of service. The food was under cooked and the drinks were never refilled. This was my second time there and the results were the same as the first time.

Still waiting. With high hopes and a hungry belly me and my boo were excited about what looked like a wonderful dining place;however.

, looks can be deceiving. We waited twenty minutes to be greeted by our server. A manager and numerous servers walked past our table and the neighboring tables were completely ignored. After switching tables hoping for a better results we left hungry and disappointed :( 8::::D

Absolutely dont. If you like waiting twenty minutes to be greeted then this is the place for you. After the ordered was taken we never saw our waitress again. We hope she is ok. The food that never came was delicious. There is far to many good dining choices in atlanta so don't lower your standards.

Good Food. I've been to this restaurant a total of 4 times. Twice I've sat in and the other times I've called for pick-up orders. I've been very satisfied with their food, but the service is just okay. For the main part, everyone does their job. I don't look for the waiters and waitresses to entertain me. I've always received my food in a timely manner and everyone is respectful.

Everything could be a little better.

Horrible management .... Watch out for bait and switch, plus gratuity snuck in on parties of 2. Do you want bait and swith tactics, well Copeland's is the King of it (or full of it) when it comes to their final check, you never know what you are going to get. I'll never eat there again or any of their chains. The management team should get a clue. Nice going on sneaking in the 18% tip on dining in with no coupon, etc. If you are a tourist visiting Atlanta.and want a real Cajun experience in metro Atlanta, please do yourself a favour and avoid this place and go to Papa Duex's..... You'll be thankful you did...

Copelands at Atlantic Station is much improved. In spite of the negative reviews we had found online, our party of eight decided to give Copelands in Atlantic Station a try. We were in the area and liked the looks of the Brunch menu. From the time we entered until we left, the experience could not have been better. We arrived at noon and it looked like half the seats were already filled. The hostess was friendly and sat us as soon as they were able to re-arrange the tables for our party. Our waitress, Tameka, was prompt, courteous and knowledgable. The drinks and food arrived without delay and everything we ordered was delicious. We somehow managed to avoid ordering the incredible looking cheesecake that was on display near the entrance. Someday, we'll go back just for the cheesecake. We all would highly recommend Copelands. A great place to dine. As a former restaurant owner, I tend to be fairly critical, but found nothing to criticize at Copelands at Atlantic Station yesterday, January 24, 2009

Unauthorized charged to my credit card, very bad service.. I wouldn't recommend this place under any circumstances . I went there with my friends back in june, the food was horrible, service was bad, and what made matters worst they over charged my credit account. I used my credit card to make my payment and left my tip in cash 2 weeks later they recharged an additional $ 15.00 to my account. Please make sure when you eat out and when you are using your credit card that you don't leave any blank space at the total in your receipt, because that's exactly what they did to me. I will never go back there again.
