“They have a beautiful atmosphere with a highly skilled staff using nothing but high end products.”
“Example: great place for good bread”

“But I will never go back there and will never recommend this place to someone.”
“No hard sell at the end but I felt a bit pushed at the beginning from the facialist (who was aloof but good at his job) to choose a more expensive service, but I stuck to my guns and everything turned out nice.”

I went there the beginning of May, for
the first time to their Paces Ferry location intending to get a pedicure. When I got there on time for mu appointment, they told me that the nail person was sick and couldn't come in. They suggested I try another treatment. I said I didnt' have the ney for another and I needed my feat done real bad. After going back and forth, I asked them for a complementary treatment , which I felt they should have immediately done instead of me asking for it.
I got the 20 minute facial and was really please on how it felt and how well they treated me. Turns out that the manicurist not coming in turned out in my favor! I still have my Gift Certificate and plan on going back to having my nails done in the near future.
Everyone from the Manager on down was really friendly and helpful especially when they learned I took a mobility bus to get there!
On the dark side, and I DO mean DARK, the place is lit like a funeral home. I know they have the lights low for relaxation, but at least they could light their hallways so you can see where you're going. There are ways of lighting a place so that it is soothing as well as upbeat.
Joseph is the best!!!
Well I have to.

Well I have to say I have always heard had mixed reviews about med spa. When I call to schedule my apt the person on the phone gave me the impression that I was inconveniencing them...this happen a couple of times. I wasn't that happy, but had a GC. Well I dont know about the rest of the services, but the body scrub I got from JOESPH was the best I have ever had in my entire life. I could go on forever, but you get the picture. He was also on time, which is huge on the weekends. I was so flabbergasted by his technic that I came out of the room with my shirt on backwards. Later I realized I had only tipped him 20 percent and still feeling bad about it, so I'm going to set another apt and make sure I give him what he deserved at least 40 percent...trust me I don't tip over 20 if that because I am very picky when it comes to personal services.
I would only give joesph 5 stars, because I wasn't impressed with the people who answered the phones to set my apt.
Thank you thank you JOESPH you made my Sunday. WL
Spa experience. I recently had a Co2fractional treatment at blue med spa and it was very pleasant experience. The doctor was professional and knowledgeable as was the staff. I recommend this wonderful spa when visiting Atlanta. Susan Alsup
Never coming back!. Overall, my wife and I didn't have a good experience at this place. We were weary of the reviews, but decided to go anyway. The service was so-so, but our full body massages were very painful at times. My wife's masseuse didn't even treat her legs or feet. We felt ok at the time, but hours later, we experienced a lot of muscle aches. Worse yet, my wife is still reeling from massive pain in her bruised back and ribs. We definitely don't recommended Blue MedSpa, and we're never going back!
Waste of Time REVISED Maybe not a complete waste.
After writing my initial review I discovered I had a voicemail from Brandy, one of the managers at Blue Med Spa. I haven't spoken with her just yet but the fact that she called and wants to make things right has changed my perspective of the spa. It's nice to feel that your patronage matters. Upgrading their rating to a "Sorta Good" from "Eh". In the least I appreciate the call.
I went for a consultation, arriving 15 minutes early as the spa suggested. I then proceeded to wait for another 30 minutes before I was told my consultation specialist was running behind schedule and would be another 15 minutes at least. There seemed to be no respect for patron's time at this establishment. While I can understand the flip side of the coin as well and wouldn't want to be rushed through a consulation as well, there has to be a happy medium where new clients like myself aren't left to feel like we or our time don't matter. Blue Med Spa won't have me as a client anytime soon.
I feel stupid for trusting them.. I allowed the personable staff to talk me into an expensive treatment. If it worked, it would be worth every penny, but I experienced no results. Now, no one at Blue Med Spa will return my calls: not the esthetician who performed the treatment, not the salesperson who followed up to make sure I committed to them, not the salon manager. Only the receptionists have been responsive and they have no power. I feel like a sucker.
Pampered like Royalty.
AT the front desk I was greated by friendly people. They offered me green tea and took me directly to my appointment. I had a facial and Nicole was excellent. She has a soothing voice, explained the procedure to me and totally relaxed me. She has magnificent hands. I walked out of there looking 10 years younger!
This was a great experience, they didn't try to bombard me with products. I guess they speak for themselves! Overall, I would highly recommend this spa for people who work hard and never have time for themselves.
Treat yourself and go to this spa! I know for sure you will walk out feeling like royalty and glad you did something for yourself.
Compliments everywhere I go. The fountain! I had made my appointment because a friend said I would love the results. I really loved her hair and she had seen someone new who new at the Spa. I could not wait to see Sheila and see what she would say I needed. Sheila sat and discussed what would be best for me. She is very thorough and wanted my input too. She cut and colored my hair and treated it. After styling it she also showed me different styles that I COULD do and a few tips for wearing my hair when I go out. My hair has NEVER looked better. All my friends love it and have called to see Sheila. I will only let Sheila do my hair for now and forever. You have to check her out and see what she can do for you. I love this place.
Love, Love, Love!. I've been going to Blue Med for Botox and hair for several months and I couldn't be happier! The hair styling "dynamic duo" of Melanie and Tracy always leave my hair looking healthy and fabulous. I've had Botox twice now, and love the results! Everyone I've dealt with has listened to my goals and explained my options so that I can make educated decisions about what is right for me. I can't wait to decide what I'm doing next!
great for problem skin!.
I love this spa. I have VERY , VERY sensitive skin, so I am usually wary of having facials and peels done, even though I want to enjoy the benefits of those services.
At Blue Med, they totally listen and understand my skin and how to give me the desired results without irritating my skin. I don't trust any other spa with my face. Highly recommend!!
