The original, and still the best. Try The Greek or fried chicken options and you'll agree.

Best neighborhood Taco-ria BAR!. I am also a neighbor of the "TL." I am from a variety of the "best' places on earth, Maui, San Diego, Vail, and now Atlanta. I have experienced every style and level of Tex-mex and Ameri-Mex bar and restaurant that there is to expierence, and personally I LOVE this one. When "RATING" a bar/restaurant like this you have to rate it for what it is: 1. this is a bar/taco-ria, 2. this is mexican food not french cuisine (NO disrespect intended, I LOVE Mexican food), 3. do not compare this to your local eatery that caters to local high-end expectitations just because of its location in Buckhead. Take it for what it is? What it is is........... A great place to enjoy a drink with friends and food that is GREAT for the price level of the "local" eateries. The service is great and the cheese dip is an addiction that you will soon need to receive treatment for!!! I highly recommend that you enjoy the experience at the TL on their large deck and listen to the live music while the weather is nice!

Sincerely yours,

The Breakfast Club

Sure, I am a regular at the TL. Isn't everybody who is successful and good looking?. As someone who is originally from Atlanta and back in town as a young professional, let me say first that this is a great spot! It has a small town feel in a big city. (Cheers theme song comes to mind). Every time I go I start out with the guacamole dip and the cheese dip. There are several salsa and cheese dips to choose from, but my personal favorite is a cheese dip with fajita marinated peppers and onions in it (to die for). It's real cheese unlike most "Mexican" restaurants where it drips like water off your chips. The chips have this seasoning on them to add a little bit extra flavor. Not sure what it is actually (sounds bad I know) but I do know it's good. I have never ordered something I didn?t like either. Taco choices cover every range of your taste from fish tacos to fajita steak tacos. The staff is always very attentive and personable. I worked in restaurants for 8 years and recognize good service. To the gentlemen who gave the review before me: a pitcher of house margaritas is $15. I don't know what happened, but you had to have added something. I would try again. Third time is a charm! Also, now that it is warm outside they are bringing great live music out on the patio (yes good patio too). I highly recommend Tin Lizzy?s for a fun night out especially if you want to meet great people. Oh and ask for Brandy, she will take good care of you! -Kristin

Yuck. This was one of those restaurants I promised myself i would never go back to again. I went back and had an even worse experience. The first time, our server tidied up other tables while my girlfriend and I sit at our table for about 10 minutes before she came over. Albeit was a fairly new restaurant when I went, she had no idea what was on the menu. We ordered some chips and cheese dip that would be lucky to be called average(they were nasty, thick chips, and how do you mess up cheese dip?). We ordered a nice little variety of taco's, maybe 4 different kinds to sample from... all of them were AWEFUL. The next time we went we were surprised to learn a regular pitcher of margarita's(no grand marnier or anything) cost almost $30. To you, by this point looking at my review it probably just looks like I'm bashing them but I must explain I am just a neighbor of the restaurant looking for something new on citysearch and find that this place has a rating of 9. For you to go to this restaurant thinking anything about it would be worthy of a 9 would be a mistake.

Cheap Casual Fun in Buckhead. Friends and I frequent Tin Lizzys for cheap food and drinks. Soft tacos (especially steak!) are delicious. Not a huge fan of the skillets though, theyre sloppy and dont have much meat in them.

The bartenders, managers and owners are all awesome people. Very friendly and always visiting tables to check on service and food/drinks.

For my money this is a great place to hang out and socialize in a casual relaxed setting. Live music and outdoor seating in the summer is also a bonus! We wont stop visiting Tin Lizzys anytime soon!

great spot for drinks and cheap good tasting bar food. I was there on a Friday after work and there was already crowd there...by the time we left around 9PM it was packed. I had a couple of the taco's, I think it was the cajun taco so obviously this isnt authentic Mexican food but its still good for the money spent. Plenty of good looking people in the place. There was also live music on the patio and I have to compliment the decision not to turn the amp up to 11 like most people that play on a patio...you were actually able to talk in a normal voice and able to enjoy the music. Will definitely be returning.

Great Food, good bar.. Great food. Hard to find better mexican food in buckhead.

A little aggressive on the chip spices.

Wait staff is young and looks good, maybe need to get someone to clean tables more often.

Overal great new place for better than normal mexican food. Would love to see some new items on the menu, or food specials.

This place pretty much rocks. Few complaints.

Fun Neighborhood Hotspot!. Love the atmosphere and location (except for parking). The food is pretty good, but to pay for chips and salsa when you can go to any Tex or Mex place in town and have it for free is pretty hard to understand...love the guacamole, salsa, cheese dip, quesidillas...the salad needs a little work...for the $.

One of my favorites. Delicious food and even more delicious bartenders!! Seriously though they have great soft tacos, guac and cheese dip. The fried pickles are just decadent. Only thing that really needs help are the margaritas but they have a full bar so you really can't complain about that. And $2 dos equis on tuesdays is fab.

The New Hot Spot In Atlanta. A must visit. A great atmosphere and perfect for laid back corporate lunches, fabulous easy dinners; either with your family or a date. I am there two to three nights a week I just can't get enough. The fish & steak tacos rock and the buffalo chicken burrito are outstanding. The food is fantastic & affordable...If you need a good happy hour place this is it. Check it out for beautiful people on Friday nights and the Margarita's beat any other place in town. It's the new El Azteca for Sunday's...great Patio often with live music...you'll love it!!!
