The original, and still the best. Try The Greek or fried chicken options and you'll agree.

Tips for Tin Lizzy's

HORRIBLE!!! The Buckhead location has an employee that identifies hemself as a manager but will not give you his name. He was extermly rude and does not belong in the hospitality industry. This lil 25$ voucher that was mailed as a peace offering I will give to the next needy person I see. If Tin Lizzy's policy is for a manager to behave this way every location has lost my business!

In the ghetto. There is another restaurant at 415 Memorial Dr. in Atlanta. The owner of the places, and the police, are very aware that the restaurant is in the "ghetto". However, they feel like it is a waste of time and money to try to protect those who choose to patronize their establishment. I was there with my boyfriend yesterday, and his car was broken into in broad daylight! No one ever tried to find out who the car belonged to, even though they were aware of the situation. there were ATL police there, and they also did not do anything about it. This was my first and last time ever going to this awful place, and I urge anyone reading this to never go there. They are obviously only concerned about making money and not about taking care of their customers. Please, find somewhere else to get cheap beer and crappy food.

Good food...Terrible service. If you are looking for a place to "hang out" and have a few beers, margaritas and decent "bar food" this place is for you, but DO NOT expect the service to be good. The place is always crowded, especially at the bar. Most of the waitresses are obviously products of GA gov't skools because they are not too bright and most of the time time have the attitude of "I don't care". Be sure you make them write down your order, not "memorize it". Parking sucks, but at least they do not make you pay to park and then have "tip" the valet....

Good times. Not a bad place, if you don't mind waiting for a drink. The bartenders and waitresses are very nice, and hot, but you have to wait a bit for them to get back to you. Andy is a really nice guy (he's also cute, so that helps). The food is excellent and the margaritas are strong, what more could one want?

atlanta hotspot!. My fiance & I are new to Atlanta, but we were very fortunate to discover Tin Lizzy's our first week in town. The food is great (I like the BBQ Chicken Tacos/he loves the Skillets), the prices are very reasonable & the staff are all upbeat/friendly (be sure to ask for Lauren or Katherine- both are great servers)! We highly recommend this hotspot to everyone we meet...although it doesn't seem to be a secret to most locals.

Horrible Hole in the wall. Andy McKoski was rude and ignored our customer concerns. This was our first and last visit. I will be telling everyone I know about how horrible the management is here and to not waste they're time of money in this place of business.

Disappointment. We at at Tin Lizzy's in Grant Park for the first time last night. Cool place, good friendly wait staff and the Three Amigos sampler was good except for the salsa, which was awful, it tasted like it came out of a jar. Beyond those things mentioned above, this place isn't anything special. Limited menu with predominantly taco's. I had 2 veggie tacos which were very bland and some of the rice was undercooked. I ate them but only after I doctored them up with queso and guacamole from the Three Amigo's sampler. My husband got a BBQ shrimp taco and a Philly Cheese Steak taco. He was disappointed with the amount of filling in the tacos (too little) as well as with the undercooked rice. We left pretty disappointed. I suppose if you just want to grab a beer and a taco this place might be alright, but if you actually want to eat good taco's for dinner I'd suggest someplace else - like Six Feet Under ( just down the street) or Taqueria Del Sol.

Nice addition to Grant Park!. Went to Tin Lizzys in Grant Park last night. They have created a sports bar and family restaraunt atmosphere in Grant Park which was definitely needed! The bar scene was very good as well for a Tuesday night. The service was very fast and friendly. The food was good but the tacos were over priced. Comparing the tacos to Taco Mac or Taqueria Del Sol, they seemed smaller and more expensive.

pros: good place to watch games, very good service, great bar scene

cons: over priced tacos

take it or leave it..... This place was pretty cool atmosphere, but overall there wasn't anything special about it. There was a pretty limited menu, like queso and chips, and a bunch of american style tacos. Not very much Mexican about the place, so if you want more authentic stuff, go somewhere else. If you want enchiladas, or chimichangas, or burritos, they don't have those either (Not to say those are authentic Mexican). I was in the mood for a changa myself, and ended up leaving after the chips and a margarita.

Like I said, cool joint, nice people, good drink list, but not much to choose from besides a bunch of unique style tacos.
