In Short – Walk up the slightly sagging wooden stairs to this unassuming spot and be struck that the interior has been jazzed up a bit from its spicy heyday as the Tin Roof Cantina. Subtly painted walls and trendy exposed brick surround a raised stage, where live acts, karaoke spectacles and the Breeze Kings (Wednesdays) hold court. A smattering of TVs, pool tables, wobbly video games and a lone dartboard amuse regulars.

UNAUTHORIZED GRATUITY ADDED

UNAUTHORIZED GRATUITY ADDED. Be careful! I ate at Midtown Tavern this past weekend, after the charge processed on my bank account I noticed that the waitress had ADDED $5 more to the amount I authorized. I have the customer copy of the receipt showing the amount that I tipped and total amount authorized. I filed a claim with my bank, reported the fraud to the police, and notified management. BE WARNED!

Midtown Tavern is just the place to go and either watch some sports, get some trivia in or just chill out- Thanks to Jen the bartender? She is the Best!

Neighborhood tavern - great food and good times!

A raised stage provides room for live bands, open mic night, and other local events. A mix of televisions offer sports viewing, while guests can also make use of the pool tables, video games, and dartboard for a little fun, along with the weekly poker tournaments.

The menu has bar food with a twist, letting diners enjoy dishes like chipotle honey glazed chicken and grilled ahi tuna along with the usual array of salads, chili, sides, wings, burgers, and sandwiches. Heartier appetites can savor entrees like the New York strip or BBQ ribs. The drink menu features over three dozen bottled beers and almost a dozen draft choices, along with wine and other assorted cocktails.

The tavern is owned and operated by the two bartenders; Doug and Bill. Make sure to ask Doug to show off his cannons! While your at it, ask Bill who his favorite Grand-ma' is!
