LOVE IT!!!. This is a great concept!! The bartenders are very attentive & gracious! The food was memorable. I plan to go back very soon!

Rare tuna cubes live up to the hype. Loved: Rare tuna cubes ($10), grilled bleu cheese sandwich ($5)

Other dishes ordered: BBQ pork pizza with cole slaw ($7) was surprisingly good, but I probably would try something else next time; Crispy bass with bok choy and sticky rice ($20) was good, but not amazing a little bit of a fishy aftertaste

Wine: Chianti (~$45)

Notes: I would stick to the small plates great value, get to try a lot of different things. Great loungy atmosphere.

My Bill: $57.00 my portion - split equally for 3 small plates, one entree, and bottle of wine.

perfect mix of trendy and casual. i ate at the bar on a saturday night. the place was full and the crowd was a nice mix of 25-45 year olds. zero cheese factor. a friendly place and a neighborhood locale. my food was above average as was the service. the hip interior design, big bar, and relatively small size were all appreciated....recommended.....

Why the Hype. Ok I just tried Mix yesterday with a group of 5. I just do not understand the hype. This place is nothing to rave about. The ambience and food are mediocre at best. Portions are very small especially and not worth the money. With a party of more than 2, the portions are very difficult to share. Found most of the tapas on the menu to be deep fried which is the only way you can get full from the portion sizes. Even the bathrooms that were mentioned in the other reviews are so passe! Don't waste your time or money ! If you are hungry go somewhere else.

a nice attempt at manhattan chic. My best friend and I went here on a Saturday night after hearing much hype about its opening.

We were underwhelmed.

Not only was it damn near impossible to find, but when we arrived, the valet was a jerk. We finally got inside and experienced the daunting task of attempting to use their pseudo-psychadelic, mirage-esque bathroom doors (you'll see what I mean).

We then waited for infamous red couch (which is tiny) to clear where we sat and checked out the scene. Balding yuppies mingled with MILFs and trophy wives while the mid life money flaunters took up the couch and eyed the young, intoxicated things. Needless to say, the whole room had a trying-too-hard-to-be-hip vibe about it. The most fun we had was watching an overly made up, bleach blonde forty-something dance around an imaginary pole, obviously intoxicated.

Nice decor, nothing more.

Awesome Place in Every Way. The service is great, the food is great, management is friendly and impeccable- the place itself is beautiful, and I go there every chance I get. Can't wait for the next Michael arnette restaurant to open!

very cool. Had dinner here on nye and it was a lot of fun. The food is very good but the plates are tiny. They come out immediately after you order as well. I guess the good thing is that it's very fast. A little loud for a date but really cool.

Fun Friendly Hip. Being a HUGE fan of Haven I had to try the new addition to the Michel Arnette Restaurant Group. Mix is fun, friendly, and hip. I've gone there with a date and with the specially designed booths for two, it was the perfect place to snuggle up and share tapas romatically. I've also gone there with a large group of friends and with the DJ and sofas, it was a great place to mingle, drink, and dance. I've always had a great time and great service at MIX. Friday nights are especially fun.

Cool, new Hip place in Brookhaven. Very cool new place in Brookhaven, definite Midtown ambience and feeling. Attentive and attractive wait staff, with an attractive crowd!! This place is going to be the new "In" place to be.

Great new addition to Brookhaven!!. My husband and I stopped in last Wednesday night for drinks and dinner and are thrilled with the newest addition to Brookhaven. Michael has outdone himself-if you are a fan of Haven, get into the MIX! Excellent service and food-even better than we expected!
