IKEA is iconic. I'm a late comer to IKEA but now I can't stay away. The store is HUGE. Fortunately, they have a restaurant inside the store so you can recharge your battery. You could literally shop there all day and some folks who drive from far away, do just that. Great merchandise for unbelievably cheap prices. LOVE my Billy bookcases and Expedit purchased in this location.
Organizing for cheap with IKEA.
This is an excellent place to start your home organizing project shopping. You may not find every product that you need for you organizing project here, but the items they do have available are much more inexpensive than other places.
Be creative. For example, a set of color coordinated matching fabric covered magazine holders can be used in your home office to hold files, printer paper, or other supplies.
Baskets can be used to hide various types of items in a room while adding a rich natural texture to the space. Just remember to designate each basket for a specific purpose so that they don't end up being a catch all recepticle.
You can always supplement any must have items needed to complete your organizing project from other sources but you will save lots of money overall by utilizing IKEA.
Bargain. Neat place. It has alot of modern stuff here. Everything is relatively inexpensive but its not the best quality either. You can't ask for everything, and they have a huge selection. My wife loves this place.
Low prices and sleek, modern design draw shoppers to this interior decorating superstore..
In Short
Hopen, Malm, Aneboda-no, those are not suggestions to name your pet, but the Swedish names of IKEA's designer furnishings and decorative odds and ends. Created with a "one-way" layout in mind, shoppers weave through a labyrinth of seemingly endless showrooms stocked with equipment to creatively accessorize every room under the sun. With patrons ranging from groups of freshmen students looking to outfit their tiny dorms to entire families, the store offers a huge repertory of styles, patterns and colors for every unique taste. And speaking of tastes, the small restaurant just beyond the cashiers serves up traditional Swedish fare for those who worked up an appetite.
