A little bit of NYC in Atlanta

I normally don't write reviews, but I noticed the negative ones written about this diner and was surprised. I ate here a couple of weeks ago with my husband when I was visiting the hospital down the street, and we loved it. It's not fine dining, but if you are looking for a New York-style Greek diner in the ATL, this is the place. I lived in Manhattan for a long time, and this restaurant is very similar to the diners there: extensive menu; breakfast 24 hours a day; and huge pies, cakes, and danishes displayed on the counter. I thought it was clean, our server was very friendly, and the food was good. This would be a great place to stop by after a show at the Fox, late night bar hopping, or if you are visiting the hospital and want a good, cheap place for breakfast.

Same restaruant as Broadway Diner

Is it just me or has no one else noticed that from the doorway to the walls to the carpet, bathroom, ketchup bottles that have rusty caps and washed labels that this place is filth. The smell is horrendous, the food sub par tasting of freezer burnt over priced garbage. If the dining and bathroom areas are this dirty I can only imagine what goes on in the kitchen.

Always Sure to Please...

I eat here quite often as it is in my neighborhood. It is usually late at night but sometimes during other time frames. I have yet to be disappointed. Huge menu, great service, great food. What else can you ask for? The only issue I have isn't the restaurant's fault. I always get asked for money outside. Maybe have some security outside to keep that from happening and it will be perfect.
