Trendy without being Cliche. I love it! The music is ecletic and interesting, adding to the laid-back ambiance and chill decor. The martini menu is delicious (try the expresso martini - like none other)!! The waitstaff treats everyone like an old friend. There is a welcome feeling for everyone who walks through the door or joins the relaxing patio whether you are a seasoned veteran or a fresh newcomer!

EXCELLENT BRUNCH. I was in with my family for Brunch last Sunday. The best that Atlanta as to offer. Try the Pork Belly, Shrimp & Grits with poached egg what a treat. Can't wait to be back. Excellent

Great social atmosphere. I really enjoy going to Midcity Cafe on Friday/Saturday evenings. There is always a large, and diverse crowd of people socializing. Even though I don't live in the nearby apartments the place still has a 'local bar' feel (a lot of the customers seem to know each other/staff) but I can go and still be anonymous enough to talk about whatever with my friends. A good mix. The techno music they've got going inside adds to the whole 'trendy' vibe. The drinks aren't the best. My friend said his rose was rather bland for the price. The coffee I have had there wasn't fantastic....other than that, it's nice and close to Tech Square (hooray for walking!) and is open late enough unlike a lot of cafe bars!

Best local hang out for urban hipsters. There are not many places like Midcity Cafe in Atlanta. It's like your local bar except that it's not a dive. Many of the hanger-outers are residents of Midcity Lofts, upstairs, but pretty much everyone gets treated like family if you come more than once. It's the perfect place to frontload before walking over to Halo. On weekends, when Halo, gets too crowded, its a perfect escape. Because Midcity is so small, it's the best place I have found in Atlanta to meet people (guys or girls) in a non-meat-market atmosphere. You just have to talk to people because they are standing right next to you. Decent food and a great drink selection served by some of the cutest (male and female) bartenders in town, make it a fun place to go alone or with friends. Perfect place for a casual business lunch or a fun night out with friends.

Coffee and conversation steeped in sex appeal make this Midtown nook not your everyday cafe.. The Scene
Unobtrusively chic Midcity Cafe combines the neighborhood friendliness of "Cheers" with the uptown verve of Manhattan. The lunch crowd consists mostly of young professionals seeking refuge from the usual fast-food drudgery. The after-work crowd is more vivacious; the bartenders' generous pouring skills make it easy to turn a happy hour into a good night. Strategic location makes this compact cafe an ideal pre-destination, but its scarcity of space precludes large gatherings.

The Draw
Coffee enthusiasts will be pleased to find much of the drink menu revolves around premium Lavazza beans, infusing ordinary java with full-bodied flavor and chocolaty undertones. For party animals who need a pick-me-up, skip the tired Red Bull and vodka and reach for the one-two punch of the signature Espresso Martini. Hip sandwicherie Pangaea caters the light but inviting Pan-Asian fare. While the sandwiches are a standout favorite, don't miss the delectable array of desserts.
