Wonderful as usual. Makes you feel like you are in Tuscany. Last night my husband and I went to Fusco's Via Roma in downtown historic Acworth. We are regulars and love the food and atmosphere. I ordered the Duck. Chef David outdid himself if was served with pear and brandy reduction and was a true foodie experience. If you are visiting Cobb County we would highly recommend a visit to Fusco's.

Terrible dining experience. Tonight my husband and I went to Fusco's to celebrate our anniversary. It was our first visit. I wouldn't go back. Let me explain. The owner barely greeted us. He seemed angry and preoccupied. The ambiance is irritatingly hustle-bustle and loud, with formulaic Frank Sinatra music and vases of used wine corks. It's almost a parody of what a "typical Italian" restaurant is supposed to be like. We ordered. My husband's steak was excellent, as was his wine. Things were looking up. But the first clam I tried in my linguine with clam sauce was rubbery. I tried another and it too was chewy. Our server promptly offered to have the dish prepared again and whisked it back to the kitchen. Moments later, a cook appeared with a menu, brusquely and unapologetically suggesting that I choose something else to eat, as there was nothing wrong with the dish. He then turned and walked away. I was stunned. I declined to order another meal and instead just sat there, trying to understand what had just happened. Our poor server seemed embarrassed by the whole episode and tried her best to make the rest of our evening pleasant. She was the bright spot in an otherwise terrible dining experience. There are so many wonderful restaurants in the metro Atlanta area; this one is truly not worth the time and expense.

Good food kinda pricey. I love Italian food & this place does a good job. My only complaint is that they are slightly overpriced . Pizza & Italian food are easy to make delicious & cheaper so I know they can do it. Other then that the place looks great & the staff is friendly.

Always Fresh, Always Fabulous. We are regulars usually once a week my husband and I have dinner here. The atmosphere is fun and fabulous. The food is extroidinary. We hate chain restaurants and will always choose Fusco's over a chain.

Nice Non Coorporate Owned Dining. Great place.. Filet is amazing along with chocolate souffle for dessert.

Service has always been exceptional...

Even had my rehearsal dinner at this restaurant 4 hrs ago!

Only complaint is that it is a little expensive but they do have wine specials on certain days and items other then filet mignon can be cheaper.

Outstanding food and service!. I've dined at Fusco's numerous times and have never been disappointed. I travel the entire country and haven't found a better Italian restaurant than right here in downtown Acworth. Fusco's has great service, a warm atmosphere and wonderful food. What more can you ask for? Mangia!

Awesome dining experience!. Loved, loved, loved this place! The drinks are delicious and original. The food is really good and keeps you coming back for more. Even though I was stuffed, I still kept eating because it was so delicious! Try this place out, Acworth is a very cute city with lots of charm and Fusco's does a good job at creating a wonderful dining experience.

Compared to trendy Inman park, WAY above the crowd!. I'm always surprised at the Decatur-Drones reviews of the trendy places in Inman Park, compared to what you see at places like this. Great flavor, traditional Italian without trying to re-invent Lasagna 7 ways to Sunday. I've eaten here 3 times, and each time the service was fine, the food was good, and the experience was worth the price.

Great food, rude owner. My husband and I dined at Fusco's on February 7th. Once we got past the rude owner, we had a very pleasant experience. We had a 6 pm reservation, and the owner led us to a table, but we preferred a booth. When my husband went to check on a vacant booth, the owner very rudely tapped him on the back and abruptly said, "Sir, that booth is reserved for another party," turned around, and walked away. I suggest this establishment either start asking their customers when making a reservation if they prefer a booth or a table, or find somebody more pleasant to greet the customers. It's too bad the evening had to start off on a bad note, because after that, the service and food were outstanding.

Pretty setting, so-so food and service.. Four women recently walked in to Fusco's for an early dinner on a weekday. Only two other tables (a total of four other diners) were seated, and were already started on their appetizers. Nonetheless, we four waited for more than 15 minutes to get the attention of our waiter to come for our drink orders. Once given, the drinks took another 15 minutes to arrive. By this time, we were starving, but menus had not even been given to us. We asked for menus, raced through them to find something that could be prepared and served quickly. and once again hunted down the waiter. He finally acknowledged our presence so we placed our orders and asked for some bread. Ten minutes later...no bread. Fifteen minutes...no bread. Twenty minutes later...out came the entrees, followed 10 minutes after that by the bread. Other diners had finished and were waiting for their checks. They waited; we ate. As soon as the waiter handed over the check to the table next to us, we told him that we were ready for ours, too. (We weren't, really, but didn't want to endure another wait.) That proved to be good planning. When we were finished, we waited yet another 10 minutes for the check.

In the course of our stay, nobody came to ask how our food was, if we needed more water, another drink, wanted to see a dessert menu, etc.

Maybe we just caught the staff on a bad evening, as other people have told us their experience at Fusco's was great. Two of our foursome returned with their husbands about a month later and said the service had done a 180-degree turn from horrible to quite good. (From the makeup of the diners in that return trip, I'm now thinking that the magic word to summon servers in that place is "testosterone." Hey, that even SOUNDS italian; Fusco's should offer something such as "Testosteroni Ala Fusco, a delectable marriage of pasta and our secret sauce!")

Will I go back? Maybe. The restaurant is really quite pretty, and maybe the service HAS improved.
