Extremely Rude. The ice cream is certainly delicious, but my young son and I were treated so rudely by the store owner's wife on two different occasions that I won't frequent this location again.

It's True! These guys have the best ice cream..
Ok, I was skeptical at first. I never heard of Carvel. I wanted to go to Brewsters but my yankee friend wanted to go to Carvel. I gave in and wow, I'm glad I did. Not only was their prices less but the ice cream was better too! I had a cup with something called midnight madness which if you love dark chocolate you will be hooked. This has to be as addicting as nicotine!!! The soft vanilla is awesome. I can't wait to try a cake. My friend swears by the cakes (thou she says the cakes in the supermarket are shipped in from somewhere and are awful) , which are made there.
An added treat was a magic show that they had there.
LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT.

Tom Carvel was inspired to found a freestanding ice cream store after his ice cream truck suffered a flat tire and he began selling his melting inventory from the roadside. Today, Carvel products can be found in grocery stores and at franchises throughout the country. Specialties include ice cream cakes in a variety of shapes for just about any occasion. Other sweet treats include ice cream cones, shakes, sandwiches and sundaes.

Best Ice Cream. Welcome to Atlanta Carvel! I missed you for so long! Forget Baskin Robbins & Brewsters -- this is REAL ice cream! Nothing tastes better then REAL soft serve ice cream. The hand packed is lso really good. I had a pumpkin sundae yesterday - better then pumpkin pie and better then I expected it to be. I ordered a Tom the Turkey cake made with it for Thanksgiving. Service was very friendly. You have to try this.

Real Homemade Ice Cream - Love it!!. I went there to buy a cake (they do have the best ice cream cakes you will ever eat) and walked out with a cake and a sundae. They have a new peanut butter fudge and reeses cup sundae that tasted even better then it sounded. It has a stupid name (dash or dasher???) but was great. My kids got mom a mothers day cake and we went back again for another. Go figure. This blows away the other ice cream places. Also, they are very friendly.
