Date Night!. Chow Baby now has date night on Thursday nights! 1 appetizer, 2 stir fry's and 1 dessert for $30. The stir fry is unlimited trips so you can fill up! $30 is a great deal for 2 people eating out!

Wow :). This place is great! I read some of the reviews and was skeptical... but, WOW! Great food at a great price :) I'm from DC, and I know everyone there would LOVE to have a place this reasonable. I tried Ghengis Grill and hated it. This is much better.

To be honest, everytime I visit Atlanta I'm amazed at the stupid things Georgians complain about. Reality check people: Dinner is only $12 for all you can eat! Why are you expecting Ritz Carlton treatment? And, yes, you do have to pay for parking in the city... so, free valet at any restaurant like this one is worth waiting for!

Pros: Fresh, healthy food and fun place for a date

Cons: Impatient clientelle and limited patio seating

bad customer service. We met friends we have seen in years with their children for dinner. The meal was good especially since were with children everyone was satisfied because they were able to create their meal.

After we paid for our meal and was having meaningful conversation. The manager kept coming to our table without even saying excuse me to get empty glasses, refill the soy sauce, etc. There was no one on line there were not customers waiting to be seated it was 9:30 p.m. the children were well behaved. The manager Wes then appeared with broom and started sweeping around us. We paid our bill at 9:05 p.m. (we were not eating just catching up on each others lives).

A few minutes later Wes came to the table and said " we are going to have to ask you leave we have a couple waiting" and clapped his hands. I walked around the restaurant and there were empty tables for large and small parties. This was rude and waitress service was less than attentive. Although, the food was good I will never go back because of the way we were treated.

Don't Bother. Went there on a recommendation from a friend. Got there and parked across the street at the building material recycling place ($2.00). I ws not impressed with the neighborHOOD. Got it no problem after the wait staff explained the concept, we joined the line to get started. It is a build you own stir fry, the problem is that people are undeceive and this make it somewhat of a pain to get thru the line. The food was OK (had worse). as for value for $$$ not bad 12.99 less drinks.

The service was marginal at best.

Overall I would not go back, was not impressed.

Um...what happened?. I have been going to the real chow baby since 2005, so probably since it opened. When I first went it was a great time, and it was always nicely filled, but not crazy packed. But then of course people got wind of it, and by 2008 it was stupid packed for dinner. Thusly, I would not recommend going on a Sunday, because that after Church crown makes sure there's no breathing room in the restaurant.

The food is really good even though I always make the same bowl. Chow baby use to be really unique, and you could make it a wrap or a soup, but now the soup option is gone and the wrap is extra.

Lastly, I want to add that sometimes certain selections aren't available (like in my experience the Calamari) so if you are going there make sure they have your meat at the end of the line so that you know whether you even want to eat there or not.

Good luck! Oh and try Genghis grill, they have a great location in Buford and are opening one in a few days in Buckhead...I'm so excited!!

Good but parking garage area not safe. Food was good we enjoyed it. However, if I can be in a restaurant for 45 minutes and have my car broken into along with 2 other cars it's not worth it. They busted 3 car windows all in the same row. Nothing of real value taken but having to deal with replacing a car window is a little much. What's even worse is that a maintenance worker was in the garage and said the restaurant has been asked a number of times to install cameras and the building would connect them to their system but refused. he said the happens all the time. Police came and said the same thing it's very common. What can you do it is what it is. However, I think if the restaurant is aware there is a problem they should try and do something. I know things like this happen and there's nothing you can do about it. But when you hear it's a common problem? They really should care more about the safety. One of the other men whose car was broken into said what if we came down while they were breaking into the cars? I had my young daughters with me. There are other parking lots right around there and they have security. Just wanted to share.

Don't Bother. We've been looking for a Mongolian Barbeque place and were excited to hear about Chow Baby. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. There was no parking unless you wanted to wait 5 minutes for their ONE valet attendant to take your keys. Both employees at the front door were extremely rude and the place was freezing. The food was just so-so and definitely not worth the money unless you are one of those people who will stand in the 10 minute line several times and truly eat all you can eat. Good try but, next time invest the money for a decent location with room for parking and an ample number of employees to service the customers.

Yummy yummy in my tummy. After hearing many mixed reviews from our friends and co-workers we headed out to Chow Baby this last Saturday night. I must say I understand what the fuss is all about. Our friends (though we kind of knew already) are shut-ins. They wouldn't know a good time.

GREAT music, fun servers, awesome selection of food to stir fry. We were very impressed. The crowd of people huddled around waiting to sit down somehow kinda made the experience unique. Definitely a place to take anyone wanting to kick back and have a good time. We will return... even though u dont take reservations ;)

OK. Not Excited. I like the concept, but it is poorly executed.Too much of a chain feel. It was fresh, but just not great. Very disorganized.

Mixed. My girlfriend and I met some friends at The Real Chow Baby on 8/21 and I have to give it mixed reviews. The quality of the food and the prices are good, leaning towards excellent. However, the restaurant was very crowded and noisy, between the crowd and the music that they turned up the volume on in an attempt to make it audible over the crowd. This distracted us from the atmosphere, so instead of enjoying the food, we felt claustrophobic and rushed. Instead of a pleasant evening of conversation over food with friends, we ended up having to yell across a small table.

They need better traffic control on the line as well. The first time through the line, it took 20 min before we were able to put our bowls down to be cooked. The second trip was even longer, close to 45 min!!!

We also have a problem with their policy of adding an 18% gratuity based on the number of tables your party occupies, not the number of people in the party. There were 5 of us in our party at two tables (one seating 4 and one seating 2) pushed together. So when they added in the 18% gratuity because we took up 2 tables, none of us gave any additional tips. We did not feel that a party of 5 warranted that kind of policy. The service was acceptable, but not exceptional, warranting an extra tip over and above the 18% we were required to pay.

On another note, the bathrooms were disgusting. I would have rather used the porta-potty down the street at the construction site.
