this place sucks

I have very bad experience at American Laser. One person here Daneil who acts like she knows everything. she is not cooperative at all. She favors only her skin color people. She is rude , doesnot do her work , try to do less work as possible. She has burned my skin twice. I requeted for another person to do do my laser but requests has not been taken care off yet.

I was thinking of recommending other people but guys do get into this trap.

No problems

I do not understand what these other people are talking about. I have been going to this place for three years and have not had any problems.

I laser just about everything: upper lip, chin, side burns, back of neck, underarms, areola, naval, extended brazillian bikini, and full legs. I do not do my arms because i have tattoos and the laser cannot go over the tattoos. I am having great results. The staff does everything they can to make it comfortable for you, especially around the sensitive areas. I have never been hounded either. Sure they tell me about their specials, but I do not see a problem with that. About all the whinning with the cancellation fees, I would like you people to think about it. If it was not so high then people would be cancelling all the time out of rudeness. My leg/bikini appt takes 2 and half hours, so if I cancelled that morning they would have a hard time to refill it. If I had to cancel my face for an emergency I am sure they could work with me with the fee since it only takes 15 minutes. If you are cancelling all the time then that is your problem, you should not make it theirs if it starts to hurt their business. If it is a true emergency I am sure it can be worked out.

The staff has always been really nice and I have never received a phone call except to remind me of my appts. I rarely have to wait when I come in. I sit for maybe a minute or two then I am taken back.

I did try the microderms for my acne but it did not help. It does make your face feel really smooth afterwards, but it is not really for me.

The prices have been really good, especially if you get the buy one get one free. Do not pay full price. That has nothing to do with this place particularly it has to do with any big purchase you make, like buying a car. If you do not want two packages, then negotiate the price for half off one. The price is not set in stone so keep at it until it seems fair to you.

I hope you will give this place a try. I have been happy with them.

Cancellation fee is went up to $75!!!!!!!

EEEKKK! A $75.00 cancellation fee for not calling with in 24 hours. It is crazy for a procedure that really takes less than 5 minutes to charge such rates. What can I do, they already have all my money.

Worst place in the world

This place is a joke. I went there for over 2 years for laser hair removal on my face and have had absolutley no results from the insanely painful experience. They say it's painless, but it's like getting hot rubber bands continuously snapped on your face. Now that I want my money back for not getting any results, I've been given the run around for 4 months from Leslie the manager in Buckhead and Nina the regional manager. Nina has not returned my phone calls for the last two weeks and Leslie's worse. After three months of phone calls (where I was tempted to just go into the clinic because I couldn't get a call back), she dragged the process on and on with her "non-responder charts" and talking to corporate, Leslie said that I was going to be issued a refund. That never came so I called back and was told that I would have to grow all the hair out and come in for pictures! I don't think so! If I don't get my money back soon, I'm taking them to small claims court. Lynn428- are you interested?

BIG SCAM!!! I never got the results they promised either. I've been going for 3 years and I've been shaving my upper lip in between treatments like they suggested. I'm worse off then before. I tried complaining to the manager, who was all of 18. I gave her the name of the manager who sold me the package and she even agreed that there had been other complaints about the false claims. She offered me another package at half the price. What a joke. Anybody else interested in taking them to small claims. I'm not done with them yet. slv4@charter,net
