Tips for Bel Fiore Bridal and Special Occasion Salon

After going to a big-box retailer, a high-end consignment store and a boutique, I didn’t think I’d find a dress that matched my vision and fit my budget. My sister discovered Bel Fiore Bridal on an Atlanta wedding event web site—and I am so glad she pushed me to go! I had had such a stress-filled experience so far, and was going to wait a few weeks before I kept looking. I walked into Bel Fiore skeptical, but came out with the perfect dress.

Rachel took such great care of me—I never felt rushed or pressured. The process was perfect as well. In my experience at other stores, brides pick out up to six dresses to try on and evaluate while the consultant judged/coerced/gabbed. After the first four, your brain turns to complete mush and all the dresses start running together.

At Bel Fiore, you pick four and refine your choices from there. Rachel really listened to me—even when I wasn’t sure what I wanted. She brought out the “Rebecca,” and I knew that it was The Dress as soon as I stepped into it. It was exactly what I’d been looking for, and it (surprisingly) wasn’t one of the 50 that I’d printed out from various designers’ web sites.

After working with consultants at other stores who only heard “lace” or “trumpet,” it was incredibly refreshing to work with someone who listened and offered choices that met my unspoken needs. I loved how laid-back and chill the experience was. And, I even got to web-cam in my bridesmaids from around the US to help decide between my last two choices. The opportunity to get real-time feedback was such a perk.

I also selected my bridesmaids’ dress from Bel Fiore, and called ahead with the rough idea of what I was looking for in the dress’ design. Kaelynn had pulled a wide assortment of gowns that fit the bill as well as swatches so I could see every shade of red they carried. I had done a lot of pre-shopping homework, and again, I ended up getting a dress that exactly matched my vision that I hadn’t seen in my research. Kaelynn and the other ladies working with Rachel the day we picked out the bridesmaids’ dress were so sweet and easy to work with, even as we grappled with every dress.

Bel Fiore Bridal turned my horror-filled wedding dress shopping experience into the classy and elegant (but relaxed) affair that I had hoped for!

I bought my wedding dress at Bel Fiore at the end of last year. I found the whole process a little awkward, but my sales consultant (whom is no longer with the salon) was very friendly and helpful. I perceived the salon owner as cold and rather rude to my mother, so I really didn't like giving her business--but my dress was a sample and the price was right. At the time of sale, I was told the necessary alterations & cleaning could be done easily. A few months later, I was contacted by Meghan, my new consultant, to set up an appointment for my first fitting with their seamstress (Again, she was friendly). After this initial fitting, I was happy and actually excited about my dress. Two fittings later, however, I was told my dress could not be taken anymore up top and the reason it was so loose was because it dropped so low in the back. The seamstress suggested that I use tape to secure the strapless top to my body because she could do nothing more. When I brought the dress home that evening, I realized the buttons that ran down the back of my dress were completely gone, the rouching no longer lined up in the back, and I could spin completely in the dress without it even touching my body. I had just spent $400 on alterations, and my dress didn't fit..the buttons were gone and the zipper looked awful. Looking back, I should have refused to leave without her fixing my dress...but I went to the appointment alone and actually believe the woman. In the end, I had to take my dress to a new seamstress who was able to take THREE inches off both sides of my dress.

Long story short, if the dress you love can only be found here, then the negative aspects are worth dealing with...but I would certainly proceed with caution when using their seamstress. Or better yet, I wouldn't use her at all.

Watch Out!. I am the maid of honor in my best friend's wedding, and I am the ONLY attendant in the bridal party. So, the bride and I went to Bel Fiore in January to shop for a bridesmaids dress for her JUNE wedding. We ended up buying a veil for the bride on this day, as well as my bridesmaid dress. The staff working for us that day told us that the dress and veil would be in around the middle of March...

The bride and I called the salon on May 8th to ask if the dress was close to being in or not. The response we both received was "It will be in SOON". The wedding is now three weeks away, and I still have major alterations that will need to be done on the dress. I expressed my concerns about having to get alterations done before the wedding, which were laughed off by the salon worker I was on the phone with.

The bride's mother called the next day (May 9th) to get an exact date of arrival from the shipment tracking of the dress. The staff nonchalantly told her that the dress arrived that morning, and they did not care to call and let me know.

Then, the staff proceeded to tell the bride's mother that the bride and I had been told multiple times that the dress would be in on April 30th.... which was a complete lie. We had never been given a specific date. The only timing that was given was the word "soon" each time we called to check. Either way, the dress was late coming in, and they were unable to tell us ANY date. Can you not track orders anymore? I am pretty sure I can track any order I make at any time.

I am very disappointed in the service that I and the bride have received from this salon. I had high hopes of a stress free experience, especially because we were only ordering ONE dress. I have been in multiple weddings with nine or more bridesmaids each, and all of our dresses came in way before this one dress did. Not to mention, I had to pay a $25 fee to ship my dress from the store to my house, which I was unaware of at the time I bought the dress. Now, I am scrambling to find someone to do alterations to my dress in time for the wedding. :(

Buyer Beware. Buyer Beware. While the staff at Bel Fiore is helpful, you need to know that if you purchase shoes, bras, anything. . . even if you get the wrong item, you CANNOT return it. I was directed online and told what to buy. It was not what I wanted. I was not able to return the item and was stuck with the over $70 item. When I asked for help at the store, I was informed they have a "no return" policy. Even if it is something "never" worn and was suggested by one of their employees. I was not happy and will not go back.

I Said "Yes!" to the Dress. I went to Bel Fiore Bridal on Saturday to try on wedding gowns for the first time.

I expected to look at beautiful dresses, find some that I might like, and spend the day with my mom, FMIL, MOH, and two of my bridesmaids. I did not, however, expect to walk out with my wedding dress!

There’s so much to tell, but since I’m keeping all details from my fiance, let’s just say that it is BEAUTIFUL.

Walking in to Bel Fiore, I was instantly stunned by all the lovely dresses. I couldn’t help but state the obvious: “Look! Wedding dresses!”

When we arrived, I met Meghan who would be helping me find and try on wedding dresses. [Thanks, Meghan!] We talked about which dresses I was interested in seeing and I even showed her a few pictures I had torn from wedding magazines.

Meghan was wonderful. I gave her my honest opinion in the fitting room of my first impression of each dress. When we went out to get feedback from my mom, FMIL, MOH, and two of my bridesmaids, she was supportive and was looking out for my interests. She was so sweet!

I ended up getting the first dress I tried on. It is so beautiful and PERFECT. I can't believe I was able to get exactly what I wanted within my budget. I don't feel like I had to give up anything I wanted.

Best Bridal Salon in Atlanta. Best place to look for a wedding dress! I went in with no real idea of what I wanted for my wedding and ended up purchasing a dress on my first visit! The staff was super friendly and attentive and made me feel very comfortable. They had a great assortment of dresses and all very reasonably priced. I plan to go back later to look at bridesmaids dresses.

The place to go for a wedding dress!!!!!. If you are looking for a dress, Bel Fiore in Marietta is the place to go!!!! I had been to 5 shops and was getting a little discouraged. I stopped at Bel Fiore on the way to another appointment just to see what they had. My friends and I were welcomed in without an appointment. The girls there are so helpful, so sweet, and really listen to you when you tell them what you are looking for. When I found a dress out of my price range, they worked with me until I was able to afford my dream dress. I am so thankful that I just "happened" to stop in there. It was meant to be!!!!

Don't be fooled. They ordered the wrong color dress and blamed us for it refused to do anything to help and they were very rude and cold..Please don't waste your time or money here!

Save your time, visit here FIRST!. My mom and I had a GREAT experience! We didn't think it ever happened... BUT, I found my dress on my very first visit to my very first store! Magdalina was such a joy and so helpful to work with. She helped make sense of all the overwhelming fits and cuts and all the different colors of white. AND it was UNDER budget!!!!
