In Short – The hubbub of the cavernous dining room can be overwhelming at first. Bulbous red lanterns and flickering wall sconces cast a spell, as well as a mesmerizing mural of a girl amid exotic animals done by Todd Murphy. A 14-foot-tall wood-pit rotisserie tower heats up the scene. But the real show-stopper is the stunning view of the Midtown skyline. Service can be hit-or-miss, but there are plenty of distractions, like live blues. The central open kitchen, where Chef Cameron Thompson holds court, draws attention to the culinary action. Jump-start your meal with addictive salmon…

waiting for a table can be hell there
by JessicaNancy at Citysearch
The place was not special. So loud you can not hear the person next to you. My husband and I went there with 16 people for a 9pm reservation. It was my son's girlfriend's birthday celebration, but by 10:15 pm, we were still not seated. My husband and I had to leave as we had to work the next morning, but my son told us that they were finally seated at 10:25. It is very poor business to accept a 9pm reservation and not be able to keep it. For the inconvienence, my son's party should have been offered something - they were not. Not even an apology. With all the amazing restaurants in Atlanta there is no need to ever go to this one.
- Pros: none
- Cons: you could die waiting
Ruined the evening

I planned an evening out for my sisters bachelorette party a month in advance. We had our reservation a month in advance! I love this place. However, from the time we get there, the valet guys were so rude and unprofessional, the hostess was very rude. We waited 45 minutes for our reservation, our entrees came out with out receiving our appetizers. The waiter was not apologetic..."do you still want them?". I talked to the manager about it and was very nice about it. HE DID NOTHING FOR US. He said "ok come back, but write me an email 1st so i remember who you are, and Ill take care of you"...righhht. Why not take care of us now?! I've spent so much money at that place. Then, on top of everything we asked the valet for a cab, which took 40minutes. He said the rest has cabs waiting in front and that he called one. 40minutes later when the cab drove up i realized he had just been sitting in the parking lot and the valet never even called him. What else could have possibly happened? 2 OF THE GIRLS WHO HAD THE SAME DISH THREW UP FROM IT...and no it wasn't from the alcohol. HORRIBLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE!
- Pros: great food, atmosphere
- Cons: valet, hostess, waiter, manager
