Great Food and Entertainment spot. Wow! The food has always been terrific and reasonably priced here even back years ago when it was Slocums Seafood Restaurant but now they've added a big time nightclub in the rear of the restaurant.

Every Friday night they have the top live bands in Atlanta - such as The Mike Veal Band and GLOW - and a dance DJ (Alan White) starting right after work at 6 PM playing what they advertise as Dance Music for Dancers up until the bands start around 9 PM.

I got there about 6:30 to see if there was anybody Swing dancing (there were a big bunch of dancers) and the cover charge hadn't kicked in yet (the $10 cover starts around 8 PM and bands start at 9 PM)

The band was The Mike Veal Band and they came on at 9 PM and they were absolutely awesome! The place was crowded and the band had it rockin'.

On Saturday nights Shag Atlanta, the Atlanta beach music dance club, meets there for lessons and Shag dancing and on Sunday nights the West Coast Swing club (Atlanta Swing Dance Club) meets there - also for lessons and dancing.

All of a sudden Nemoe's is the the place to be for great food or to party!

Next week they're going to have GLOW and I'll absolutely be back for that. People say GLOW (who used to be at the now closed Mudkatz) is the best dance and party band in the South.

Can't wait to hear them.

It's so great that there's a cool place for grown ups to go out and party!

Best Calamari around!!. This place has it's own unique charm, and it grows on you with each visit. The food is spectacular, especially for the price. The steaks are hand-cut, as evidence by the fact they already have the fat trimmed before they are cooked.

My favorite entree is the shrimp and lobster a la vodka. I've never had vodka sauce before where it didn't taste like a martini, but the cooks at Nemoe's know how to keep the vodka from overpowering.

There was a large party in the back room that was catered last time I was there; I didn't know that they did this.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable; I've never received bad service.

And the calamari really is that good. If you visit, GET THE CALAMARI. You will not regret it.

Reminds me of Cheers - great management and large portions of good food. I was there last night and had a great time with my wife. We started the dinner by sharing a plate of spinach dip and chips. Really good!! My favorite was the lobster ravioli and my wife loved the chicken ceasar salad. Wonderful flavor with great service and we will definitely be back. It was a great experience and I did not find the restaurant to be too loud and it had a great atmosphere with a nice crowd. We will be back next week.

Great Place-Great Food-Great People. This place is like cheers! Great atmosphere, and the food is wonderful. Outstanding food with great prices. Waiter was friendly and knowledgeable, bartender was fun, friendly and had a great personality (not bad to look at either!) I like the set up there, with the dining area, bar area and game room it's very versatile. I also enjoyed the entertainment, and I look forward to checking out the dancing that goes on in the back room-it sounds like fun. I will definitely be going back quite often and intend to bring my friends. There is one downside, the restaurant is kind of down in a hole and hard to find so keep your eyes open or you'll pass it, and the parking wasn't the best.

Great Food. Nemo's is a great place to eat. Im there at least three nights a week. You cant go wrong with picking items off the menu everything is so good. The staff is friendly and it's a place where everybody knows your name. My favorite menu item is the shrimp philly. The sandwich is so loaded with shrimp that it's hard to pick up the sandwich and put it in your mouth. It's seasoned just right and you can't just order one.

If you like Halloween this place will scare you. Horrible food to say the least.A bad attempt to try and pull off a seafood joint.Food is very bland.Steaks are well below average and seafood has no flavor.Bathrooms are better at a truck stop on I-20.Game room? Nice try there too.Kid friendly? I dont think so unless you want your children breathing in smoke and hearing 4 letter words the whole night from patrons and staff.On a scale from 1 to 10 this place goes negative.Staff in general doesnt have a clue.If you want a bad night to get worse,show up at this dive and take your chances.
