The food was ok. It was the best food in the world but it also wasn't the worst. The service was slow and the quality wasn't the greatest.. I've had better !

For the N Druid Hills location...Service is terrible.. We tried this location tonight, and I do have to say that the food is amazing. It is some of the freshest sushi I have had in Atlanta.

I do however, have to say that the service was terrible. We waited 10-15 minutes before we were asked what we wanted to drink, but as a matter of fact, we were never asked what we wanted to drink. They just brought us water, which was fine, but an option would have been nice. We then waited another 10-15 minutes before we were asked for our order. The food came out rather fast, but as it was time for a drink refill, we had to flag down our server and ask him for a refill.

I was impressed with the quality of food, but definitely not the service. With it being on a Sunday night, the restaurant was not crowded, so the service should have been better.

Food was Great. We tried Zuma Sushi and found the food to be of high quaility. We actually tried both restaurants (North Highland and Toco Hills) The Sushi Chef was great at the North Highland location. We sat at the bar and he was fast and highly skilled for such a young. The service at this Zuma wasn't as good as the Toco hills location. We had a Japanese waitress and she never seemed to smile and was a little slow. Both the service and the Sushi were top notch at the Toco hills location. We were surprised at the consistant high quality of the fish. We had a Chinese waitress at the toco hills location and she knew how to smile and the service was excellent. The other major difference was in decor. The VA highland location had a better atmosphere-but again the service wasn't as good.

Good sushi rolls. I had a taste of Zuma's sushi rolls and like any other sushi restaurants, it was good, though nothing special on it. Just want to make a remark on the interior as black and red makes a striking impression, though service should be upgraded.

enjoyable. It was very enjoyable dining at this restaurant. We liked the taste of the food since it was full of flavors. We had one of their best-sellers and it was indeed awesome. The service crew was very friendly, but the service was not prompt. Nevertheless, we still enjoyed our visit.

good sushi, not so good service. the food here is good. the sushi was very tasty and the cuts were generous. however, the service was not so good. the servers took too long (the place was about half full) and we had to flag them down every time we needed something. also, it was pretty pricey - i guess that's what you pay for good tuna. if they can improve the service, this would be a really good place to go to.

Great sushi, not so great service. I've been to Zuma many times because their sushi is great. This is really a sushi/sashimi restaurant, so if you're looking for hibachi or noodles or anything, go somewhere else. It is a littl eon the expensive side, but I think the quality of the fish is worth it.

The only downside is staff is a little slow to refill drinks and things like that and some cannot understand English very well, which can be a problem if there's a problem with your food. I had a question about what kind of fish was on the sashimi sampler and our waitress had to get the manager because she didn't know what I was asking.

I would recommend this place to anyone, but it takes a little patience too deal with the staff.

Zuma Sushi Body Piercingly Bad. I'm from Los Angeles and to some they will say, "So what." To them I say, "We know sushi." Well, actually, not all Los Angelinos know sushi, but those that do always have "their sushi place". Zuma would not be one of them. I came to Atlanta the beginning of Oct to work for 4 months and the first place I tried was Zuma with their all you can eat lunch. The rolls seemed adequate and typical -- specialty rolls wrapped in a lot of nori and rice -- not so special. For lunch time the atmosphere was empty and cavernous so also not very welcoming more like a cafeteria with accented black and red walls. While eating, Hamachi, (yellowtail, my fave) I bit into a large piece of bone. It was pretty spiky. I can deal with an occasional bone but this was not thin it was body piercing huge.

After the potential body piercing experience, I turned off from Zuma and decided I'd rather play the video game of the same name than revisit my experience at Zuma. It is a shame because I live in the apartment complex which Zuma is connected to. In the same, Inman Park, area are far superior restaurants including PaCheen, Johnie's Pizza, Across the Street, and Highland Bakery which is where I'm going to go now to get an amazing cupcake.

not fresh sushi. was there one evening and my friend and myself were the only two in sight. tuna tar tar was awesome - spicy, salty, melt in your mouth. a few of our items had not yet come out and in the quiet of the dining room i heard the beep of a microwave. out came our eel, octopus and sea bass and they had obviously come out of the microwave - some of it still frozen in the middle. i know that's the case in many sushi spots but at least keep up the image.
