Wonderful, enjoyable spot

Living in East Point, I enjoy being able to drive a short distance to find a coffeehouse with a pleasant, peaceful atmosphere, great pastries, a good selection of foods and coffees; it is clean and serviced well. The hosts are quick to make the customer feel welcome in a way that is not overbearing, but comfortable and mellow.
I think the community is fortunate to have such a place so close by; whether you just want to sit and chat, grab a snack during the workday, or post up for a bit with a sandwich, a cup of tea, and work on your laptop (free wi-fi helps when the office gets too confining) in peace, it's a great little place.
Maybe I can get a game of chess going there one afternoon when I am free!

Can you spell d-i-s-a-p-p-o-i-n-t-m-e-n-t ?

Maybe we should spell it with capital letters D-I-S-A-P-P-O-I-N-T-M-E-N-T. This establishment went thru the time, money and effort to have their business advertised on an exit sign off the interstate. The place is nowhere near the interstate, so convenience is not a factor. The space is claustrophobic, has zero ambiance as far as a coffee house is concerned and the baristas/cashiers have even less personality. The coffee/beverages were lukewarm and nothing to write home about. Probably the best thing about the whole place was ample parking because no one is ever there. Oh, yeah, the pastries we had were tasty.
If you want to start your day off right, don't waste your time on this place. The two women who work there "Glum and Glummer" will assure that.

- Cons: Lack of appeal as a coffee shop - dull, boring, tasteless.

coffee house done right

This place is great..offers internet connection, cute little nook that offers wireless internet, good spot to sit relax and read a book. Good service and great menu: coffees, tea, ice cream, milkshakes, sandwiches, pastries. Glad I found it!
