Not this location... but same thing at other location. I didn't have this happen at this same location, but have had similar experiences at other locations of this overpriced rip-off chain.

Total Rip Off - go to the Post Office instead!. This is the second time I've been ripped off at the UPS store in Midtown. The first time was when I got my passport photo last year and walked down the street and they were half the price at the CVS.

Then yesterday after being told a) even though I have a UPS account they wouldn't accept it b) the only way for my package to get there in time for Christmas was 2-day air for $55 even though it was a full five days before Christmas c) I asked for the $12 ground instead and my total was $16 - was told rudely because they put peanuts in the box and "taped it shut for me." The box was totally full other than a tiny corner, it literally couldn't have been more than 20 peanuts

After I complained the owner rudely said, "we can untape it and take the peanut out - and actually I should have charged you more!"
