Worst Dance Club in Atlanta. I was looking for a good Latin dance club. I read reviews on Rumba and I thought it could be good, especially since they seem to have recognized artists perform at the club. Overall, the music is waaaaaaaaayyyyy too loud. Second, the dj likes to get on the mic. and talk, like to pump up the crowd, but it sounds as he is selling used items in the flea market... very cheezzee and annoying. Most people, if not all, are not dancers. I mean some of them try, but no true dancers in this club. It seemed a mostly Mexican crowd. Oh and also, they have this guy in the men's restroom who i guess works for tips as he gives you a paper towel and sells gum/candies...not very friendly. So, I will not visit this club again. If you really want to 'dance' with people that go to the club for dancing and not hanging/standing around, go to the dance clubs in Buckhead.

La Rumba equals awful customer service!. I arrived at this restaurant one Friday afternoon, two months ago, around five thirty in the afternoon. There were four other friends of mine who accompanied me. We came here for cocktails and drinks so we immediately went to the bar upon arrival. After socializing for a couple of hours and acquiring a tab of more than a hundred dollars, the manager aproached us. She stated that there is a cover charge that starts at eight p.m. for the dance club. I expressed to her that my party was not interested in the club. We just wanted to stay at the bar. The manager said if we did not pay the cover charge we were not welcome to stay. At this point we paid the tab and left. I do not recommend this restaurant for simply rude management and awful customer policies.

Editorial Review by Elisabeth Bergman. Expansive Sandy Springs restaurant serves up standard Mexican far by day, high-energy dance tunes after dark.

CHECK THE NEW RUMBA OUT!. For those who doesnt know, la rumba has open a new location in 4300 Buford Hwy and you definitely have to come. This place is awesome, during the day is a mexican restaurant in which the food is GREAT..i love eating there, it's soo clean and people are super nice. Then, at night it turns into a night club and you have to check that out..their waitresses dance all night long and usually have a performance at midnight and they are HOT!! (they also have waiters and they dance too and they are really hot too) and the music and the ambience it's awesome..they have many rules and some people dont like it but that's what keeps this place full of "good" people. People that come here are from all latin america..i dont see that many mexicans or central americans since they dont really like this kind of music. well i couldnt keep going and going but my point is that this is one of the best latin clubs i've been to..you should come, im sure you'd like it and you'd love to come back every weekend..at least it happened to me!!

BEST LATIN DANCE CLUB IN ATLANTA!. I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO LA RUMBA TO EAT, BUT I ABSOLUTELY LOVE HOW IT GETS AFTER HOURS. YOU FIND ALL NATIONALITIES THERE, AND THE GUYS ARE SUPER CUTE! I WOULD GO THERE EVERY WEEKED IF I COULD. FRIDAY NIGHTS ARE A LITTLE MORE PACKED THAN SATURDAYS, BUT THE MUSIC AND THE AMBIANCE IS STILL THE SAME. DRESS TO IMPRESS IS REQUIRED. THE STAFF IS VERY RUDE BUT IF YOURE DANCING ALL NIGHT IT WONT REALLY MATTER.

You Got to be kidding Me..... On January 4, 20007, a couple of colleagues and myself decided to have lunch at this restuarant. NOT realizing this would be the worst lunch to start the new year. I couldn't tell you how good the food is, because the customer service was awful. We arrived at noon to a nearly empty restaurant and could have been a 45 - 1 hour lunch, turned into a 1 hour nightmare and spoiled the rest of my day. We were escorted to our table by a hostess which took our drink orders and left. We waited 15 minutes for staled chips and salsa to be brought to our table, at which time we were advised that a server would be right with us. We waited another ten minutes for the server to arrive who immediately asked for our food orders. We informed our server that we placed drinks orders; however, we had not received them. Our drinks were finally brought to our table where we waited for our food for another 30-45 min. The hostess who seated us came to our table and inquired as to whether ?everything was okay? we advised the hostess that we had not received our food, and that we would need to take it to go, since we had already been there for about 50 minutes. We waited an additional 10 minutes before approaching the hostess, and requested to speak with a manager. The hostess advised she would get a manager right away, and then came back to say she was the manager. She insisted that we had to pay for food we havent received nor touch, so we requested to speak to the General Manager. The hostess then advised that the general manager was to busy too, busy to speak with us. Jesus Varela, who identified himself as the general manager, finally, after we waited several more minutes rushed over to our table and very abrutly, he didn't want to hear what we had to say instead he said "If you don?t want to pay for the food just go!" Telling his employee to remember our faces and not to let us in the restaurant anymore. This was the worst service anyone could imagine.

Worst Customer service, Horrible Manegement!!!!!!. My co-workers and I received the worst customer service. We arrived at noon and the restarant was nearly empty. We were escorted to our table by a hostess who took our drink orders and left. We waited 15 minutes for chips and salsa to be brought to our table, at which time we were advised that a server would be right with us. We waited another ten minutes for the server to arrive who immediately asked for our food orders. We informed our server that we placed drinks orders; however, we had not received them. Our drinks were finally brought to our table where we waited for our food for another 30 min. The hostess who seated us came to our table and inquired as to whether ?everything was okay? we advised the hostess that we had not received our food, and that we would need to take it to go, as we had to return to work. We waited an additional 10 minutes before approaching the hostess, and requested to speak with a manager. The hostess advised she would get a manager right away. We waited 5 more minutes when our food was brought to us on plates. We informed our server that we requested to speak with a manager. The server placed our food down on the table in front of us and rushed off. We wait another 5 minutes before the hostess who seated us returns to the table, and informs us that she is the manager. The hostess/manager stated she did not come because she was trying to get the general manager on the phone. We advised the hostess that we would like to pay for our drinks and leave. The hostess advised that we have to pay for the food, even though we did not eat it. We requested that the hostess provide the contact information for the general manager. The hostess then advised that the general manager was on the premises, and that he advised he was too busy to speak with us. Jesus Varela, who identified himself as the general manager, finally, after we waited several more minutes rushed over to our table and exclaimed If you don?t want to pay for the food just go!
