Atlanta >Bella Bridesmaids
“The whole experience was very pleasant and fun, quite different from the "bridal factory experience" I put my friends through for my wedding.”
“brides, there are plenty of great stores in Atlanta.”
“would HIGHLY recommend this business for quality dresses and awesome customer service!”
I felt compelled to write this with the hopes that the Corporate office would conduct in better customer service training on its franchise, specifically Bella Bridesmaids in Atlanta. This owner is rude, unhelpful, and unorganized. Noone deserves that type of poor customer and appalling attitude during a what is supposed to be a happy occassion. Bella Atlanta has ruined a number of experiences for brides, bridesmaids, friends and families of the brides and bridesmaids (from the overpouring of negative reviews on this particular store) that they can not simply take back. What a dissapointment. Hopefully with messages like these, Bella Atlanta (specifically that rude owner) would be more inclined to reassess her snotty attitude to save business. Bella Atlanta is a disgrace to such a beatiful company as a whole. I would be very embarrassed.
Myself and one other bridesmaid ordered dresses in the beginning of December to be rushed for a wedding on February 18, 2012. When the sales associate wrote the style number for the dresses she wrote the one I wanted on the other bridesmaids form and hers on mine. The other bridesmaid and I are drastically different body types and sizes which is why we came to Bella, so that we could get dresses in the same fabric but different styles. When I went to pick up the dresses I realized the error and since the wedding is coming up was told there is no chance to get new dresses in. The associate at the Bella Bridesmaid simply has told us that we signed the contract and that is all. That she can order extra fabric to have the dresses remade (at our expense) but since we signed this contract that her associate wrote the wrong style on it is our problem. As a professional I expect the associate to know the style number not me the consumer. I did not write the style number on the contract or my measurements, these are things I leave to the professional staff.
I understand that I signed a contract for the wrong dress because I never saw the style number and trusted the associate to write the correct style number, I realize my mistake in that. But the resolution to have the dresses entirely remade at our expense of anywhere between $200 -$300 per dress on dresses that we already paid $350 for is unrealistic. At this moment, the answer from the Atlanta Bella Bridesmaid has been "you signed this contract and there is nothing we are going to but order more fabric". How is that a resolution?
Being a photographer in this industry I am disappointed in how this has been handled. I had been sending my brides to Bella for their bridesmaid dresses in the past, in fact my client for January 21, bought 7 dresses there and now feel that I can not do that anymore. Being a small business every client is important and if I had an associate that ordered the wrong item for a client, I would do everything in my power to make this right including refunding the client.
As of right now, I have not accepted the dress. We got quotes on remaking the dresses but don't feel that the remake should be our responsibility so they are at the alterations salon that Bella Bridesmaid recommends. Ultimately, I would like a refund for the dress and to have Bella Bridesmaid keep it.
My advice is to stay away from Bella Bridesmaid!
Awful Service. Very Rude..
I hate it for girls that had to drive all the way out to this bridal store to find out how terrible the service. I didn't get past the first phone call before finding that out.
Just as a preface: I am rarely ever moved to spend my time to write a negative review about any business. If I don't like them, I just don't go back. This on the other hand is different. Why? Because wedding days are too too happy, too fun, too girlie to be faced with the type of mean and inappropriate service given here.
As I said, I didn't even get past the first phone call. The woman who picked up the phone was speaking a mile a minute to where I couldn't even understand her (and trust me... I live in New York so I know fast talkers!). I asked her to repeat and she then proceeds to talk to me like I was mentally handicapped. What a joke. Find someone who will care more about catering to you, your bridesmaids, and your special day!
(So sorry I couldn't give zero stars!)
Unsavory Experience - Not at all impressed!.
While I had heard several questionable reviews about this place I decided to give it a try anyway. While the selection was o.k. I was completely put off by the salesperson (owner I think?). I felt like she was extremely pushy; rushing me, rude, and was only after a quick sale. I hate to say it but the experience was a bit like being at a used car dealership.
I would think twice before using this shop! Far better places in town that actually understand the meaning of customer service.
Rude!. The service at Bella Bridesmaid was horrible. The people there were extremely rude! Our bridal party was shocked at the unprofessionalism.
Poor if you're not ordering from them!. I'm in a wedding this summer and the bride is ordering our dresses together (to get a discount). The only store in Atlanta that carries the dress line is Bella, but they won't even let me come over to see the dresses (we're allowed to select our own styles)! I find this behavior very short-sighted. While I might not order through them, your reputation is everything...brides, there are plenty of great stores in Atlanta. Please work with other vendors that truly have great customer service.
Cute wedding shop does it right a choice selection and classic, attentive service.
Statistics show that the average wedding sets couples back about $25,000. So, any place future brides and grooms can save a few dollars before the nuptials is a heaven send. Though the tags on gowns from the likes of Charsa, Jenny Yoo and Twobirds aren't necessarily cheaper at Bella than at other boutiques, the fact the cozy shop keeps an impressive selection of dresses to sample saves loads on gas and frustration. And we haven't even begun to talk about how priceless Bella's energetic, insightful service is. Really, if you had a dollar for every time an associate asked if you needed anything, your wedding day photographer's down payment could be taken care of.
Bella Bridesmaids is it!. There was a large selection of dresses that were very today!! The shop is tucked away. The service was personal and very efficient. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. If I needed to get "28 Dresses" this would be the place!
Fabulous Dresses!. The best selection of bridesmaid dresses by far in Atlanta. Everyone is so friendly and helpful.
Best Bridesmaid store in Atlanta. I had so much fun working with the staff at Bella Bridesmaid. They helped me pick the cutest dresses that actually fit every bridesmaid. Not 1 bridesmaid had to alter a dress. I even have been back to buy dresses for parties. I love this shop!
