disappointing. diner atmosphere & horrid food - I asked for extra cheese melted & got white 'soup' everything else was as disappointing... will never go back - Mex is way better across the street - next to Eye Place xSonic... much prefer Fuego in Marble Hill for great Mexican

We love this restaurant!. My family and I prefer this Mexican restaurant to all others in both Dawsonville and Dahlonega. The food is far better, the service is excellent and we have never had a bad experience. We have two small children--usually a challenge when dining out--and still have had nothing but good times at El Jinete. My husband and I also go there alone because he loves their enormous draft mugs. Although it is smaller than another Mexican restaurant in close proximity, the food and service are far, far better.
