Buford >Killer Ink Tattoos
Nothing killer about killer ink. I went into Killer Ink to receive one of two matching tattoos I had in mind. The first time I went in to talk about getting price quotes and such I waited 45 minutes to talk to someone. They were not particularly busy, but I was patient with them. When I came in for my first appointment I had a piece of paper with what I wanted on it. I wanted to talk to my artist, Mel, about the piece and how I wanted it, but they wouldn't let me speak to her. It took almost an hour of talking to the boy at the front desk about my piece, having him run over to the artist to explain, then having her explain some things and him running back over to me to discuss. I never even got to talk to the artist until I was in the chair ready to go. The tattoo only took about 90 minutes, but the entire time she had head phones in and I couldn't get her attention or talk to her about anything, tattoo related or just friendly banter. Once she was done I noticed that she had gone and change the colors of certain things and never once informed me about it. (She's lucky my favorite color is purple.) I went home and took care of my tattoo, following the instructions they gave me to the T. She offered me a free touch up once it healed, but it never did. It scarred up. I tried everything she recommended and to this day it is still scarred. She told me that maybe I had an allergic reaction to the shade of ink she used, so when I came in for my next piece she used a different color to avoid anymore scarring. I asked her what brand of ink they used so I could look up the ingredients to see if I was possibly allergic to anything. She avoided the question and wouldn't tell me. I got the second tattoo done, and then that one began to scar up, even more than the last one. I went around to a few other shops in my area and asked what they thought about my scarring. They all said it looked like someone wasn't switching out their tools when they should have, and also bearing down too hard while tattooing. I never went back to get any touch ups because my tattoos never healed. I still put lotion on them everyday. I was very patient with everyone I had to work with, I was polite, and I even went back the second time to give them another chance. The only pleasant person there is the shop owner, Anita, (she's a doll) but I'm not sure she knows just how her employees treat her customers when she is not around. I will NEVER go back to Killer Ink for anything or recommend them to anyone! They have very talented artists there with great style, but the lack of communication and respect between their customers, not to mention what I can only assume is poorly skilled and lazy techniques, are the only Killer in this shop.
Very professional staff. I got my first tattoo here. I love it! It's so beautiful and even months later it looks great. I just recently came in to get my nose pierced and it looks great as well. The staff is really clean and friendly, and they definitely know what they are doing! Every question I asked was answered and I felt so comfortable.
NOT LICENSED !!. I went into this shop about a week or so ago to get a tattoo. They did an okay job but I have to say that I was HORRIFIED when I found out that more than half of their staff is NOT LICENSED! I didnt believe it so I called Gwinnetts board of health to find out that this was true! Chris is the one that did my tattoo and he is NOT LICENSED! I would not recommend this shop to anyone ever again! This is so unprofessional and dangerous!!!! BUYER BEWARE!
Great Shop. Recently went to Killer Ink for a Tattoo, and for a piercing. The environment and atmosphere at Killer Ink was amazing. The body piercers and tattoo artists were friendly, personable, and very knowledgable. They answered all my questions, and settled all my fears. They were very clean, sterile, and thorough with their work. I couldn't be happier with the outcome of my tattoo. I enjoyed my entire experience, and will definitely reccomend killer Ink to all of my friends. I will be back again for my next tattoo.
Not to painful. My nose piercing - went great! It was not to painful and the staff was very nice. Thank you Killer Ink

Great Piercer. I enjoyed my experience here at Killer Ink. My piercer was extremely kind and answered all of my questions.
Some Good Looking Guys. Killer Ink Tattoos is the best tattoo shop ever and the people that work there are amazing at what they do. Also as a bonus they are very handsome too!
Horrible experience. I went to get a tattoo and the "artist" decided to add a background that I did not ask for without first asking or consulting with me. What I ended up with was horrible, and I did not like at all. They have yet to give me my money back and I am doubting they will, even though I did not receive the service that I paid for. After tying to discuss with them what could be done to fix it they were very difficult to deal with. I felt as if they could have cared less about me at all. I would receive different answers or excuses from them each time I went to try and work something out.
I would never recommend this place to anyone. I went to another tattoo parlor to fix my tattoo. There I was treated very well, and they helped me like they were the business who messed up my tattoo. I even learned while I was there, that they do a lot of cover-ups for people that have got tattoos at Killer Ink.
