Amazing food and ambiance. A co-worker and I went here on a whim and it was one of the most fantastic Thai restaurants I've ever been to. I'm from NYC and we have some great places, but this beat them all. The food was unbelievable, the decor authentic and the service was great too. There were no negatives about this place. The bathroom was even gorgeous!

Nan's new menu same great taste!. I've eaten at Nan's a few times over the past few years and I gotta tell you, I don't understand these negative comments left behind. I read the hat guy, really they don't allow hats in the dining room, I seriously doubt they, "took your hat." I doubt they were insulting you "hat guy."Service is stellar here, My meal is evenly paced and I don't feel rushed, I've never felt rushed here. Not to sound like Andy Roonie, but maybe these people with these bad experiences, maybe they were real jerks! I never find the hostess to be rude, infact shes quite accomodating, maybe you just failed to show up on time. And who needs more than an hour and a half to eat dinner. i don't think this family owned restaurant would treat their guests like that. The new chef Dee, walks around the floor, they way her mother used to do. Shes gracefull and elegant, like the dishes she is producing in the kitchen. By the way they have a new menu and its great. You can tell daughter has learned a lot from mother here and it shows. I know it can be difficult with restaurants, but I think that if you're a nice person you'll get good service. i've always had grreat service,

Great food, bad service. Nan has great thai food and a nice ambience, but the host @ the desk was rude! She told us we needed to leave in an hour and a half because there was another reservation, like who does that, ruined the nite!

Satisfied at every visits!!!. Another congratulation to this great restaurant of Atlanta again, I have been a customer here for a few years now and always enjoy the food and services here at Nan! I think the staff are wonderful and knowledgeable. I enjoy good food and services from all over the world and this is one of my favorite restaurant and I will continue to come here as long as I'm in Atlanta. For those who enjoy a fine dining experience I highly recommend this restaurant.

Dont insult me and smile while you do it. At least be consistent.. Excellent Food. Perfect servings for one person. Dont expect leftovers.

BUT, I WILL NEVER GO BACK!

I left my hat under my seat and when I called ten minutes later and told them I was coming back to get it, they told me it wasnt there. I said I left it and I would be back in ten minutes.

Well, it wasnt there. The staff took my number and said they would call me after talking to the server and bus boy. I didnt hear back from them so I stopped by two days later. The manager said she spoke to the server and no one took my hat. I cant tell you how furious I was that she would say that. My hat was there and then it wasnt. Its not a difficult concept. There is no language barrier. If its gone, someone took it. She smiled, said she was sorry, but her staff wouldnt take it. I am appalled that I can spend almost $100 on my meal and then not leave something as simple and inexpensive as a hat and not have it returned. Very disappointing. I will continue my search for excellent thai food with honest service. I even feel more insulted because I gave the server a $20 dollar tip.

Worst Customer Service- No service received. My husband and I thought that Nan Thai fine dining would be a very nice place to have dinner. Reading all the reviews we thought it would be a great place.

The restaurant is very stunning. We arrived for dinner at about 6pm and the hostess gave us our dinner and drinks menu. We were seated on the far side of the restaurant. We were looking over our menu and could see about 6 waiters and waitresses standing around talking. My husband and I talked about how nice the place was but after about 10 mins of waiting no one came over to our table to ask if we wanted drinks. We thought.. oh we could wait. But then 20 mins went by, still nothing. A group of people and then another couple came in after us and they got service right away when no one even took our drink orders.

I understand maybe they like to keep their customers waiting, but we got tired of waiting and left at about 6:30pm. I just want to say that I would never go back there again. I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone. If you like to wait an hour for service. I say go. But my husband and I did not get any service. We were just sitting there watching people getting service while we got nothing.

If you hav'nt been you need to go!. My wife and I dine out at different restaurants very often but I've never been before moved to post a review. At Nan as soon as you walk in the decor and feel instantly takes you far from Spring & 17th. I took my wife there for her 20 something'th birthday with a group of about 15 friends. the reservations were no hassle with the regular cc# and comfirmation call. As soon as we were seated our wait staff was on hand providing stellar service and thats a understatment for the service we were given. The entree's were filling and tasted wonderful. Just before we were seated I breifed valet that I hid my wife's gift in the car there was no hic-up retreiving it ,and in a matter of minutes our extremly helpful hostess helped me plan the waitress bringing her gift out right after we finished our entrees with dessert . All while I sat there pretending to be clueless, it went off without a hitch. Great service, great food, price...let me say I'm not a rich man but in this case you get much more then you pay for.

Best $100 I ever spent on food!. My husband and I dined here to celebrate my birthday and initially were worried about the $$$ it had next to it and all the reviews saying how expensive it was. From the moment we stepped into the foyer, we felt like we were transported to another time and place. We decided to enjoy ourselves and not worry about price so we indulged in the Chef's Blue Plate appetizer and a bottle of wine. The portions were tiny but the food was thoughtfully prepared. I would definitely only order the calamari and steamed dumplings the next time, they were the standouts. I ordered pad thai noodles full of large shrimp and he the r@ck of lamb. He was concerned about being hungry afterwards but that r@ck was like an entire steak, it was the best he ever had. Of course, on the way out we stopped by the restrooms and both exclaimed when we opened the door. That is the nicest potty Ive ever seen, I wanted to take it home with me!

Best Thai in Atlanta. This is one of the best Thai places in the city. If you like Duck you cannot go wrong here ( Ped Masaman ). The Nan Martini is a great opener to your meal. If you cannot decide on an appetizer, I recommend the Chef's Blue Plate which has sample of the best. Pricey but worth every penny. My friends and I are hooked.

Good Food Good Service. I had never gone to Nan before and decided to take my wife (for her birthday) . Since we made reservations (recommended), we didn't wait long to get our seat. It was very busy for a weekday there but the staff set up our roses nicely done, and the table we were given provided a great views& great decor. We started with champagne and our waitress was very knowledgeable and pleasant. Service was flawless; (since we ordered 4 entree) she took care of the timing promptly and divided into 2 courses.. Superb!! I looked over the wine list for our dinner and the wine steward came within second; wine recommendation were impressive (great wine under$50), and the entire dinner was served to my expectations. In addition, my wife is Lactose intolerance and the entire dessert menu came with it? but our server eagerly offers us some fresh fruit from the kitchen. Shortly after, she came back with (SIMPLY WONDERFUL) sweet Thai mango with sticky rice and chef topped it with coconut milk ? (Make it even better than any dessert). A great beautiful restaurant for special occasion!! They don?t bring out the whole wait staff singing ?Happy Birthday?, a nice complimentary dessert is all we need ( I believe it was a Thai cheesecake; it was soft , good and I almost lick it out of the plate since my wife can?t eat em) .We definitely enjoyed the experience and can't wait to return.
